We have the answers to all your questions

… How have regulations changed since July 1, 2003?

… What new conditions must be observedwhen existing installations are repaired?

… Which mechatronic components can beintegrated into existing systems?

… and many more.

Today, generating the documents requiredfor explosion-protected equipment is asimportant for the equipment operator aschoosing the right hardware.

Sartorius delivers "Verification of IntrinsicSafety" information with each product exfactory, free of charge, as a required part of the documentation for hazardous areas.

And that's not all.You can combine Sartorius components fora complete solution, and we will supplyintrinsic safety verification that applies tothe entire system.

The advantages are clear:No expensive, time-consuming tests todetermine compatibility of individual components from different manufacturers!

Just file the "Verification of Intrinsic Safety"with your other explosion-protection documents, and you are ready to go!

Zone 21 - DustsAn area in which an explosive atmosphere in the form of a cloud ofcombustible dust in air is likely to occuroccasionally in normal operation.

Zone 2 - GasesAn area in which an explosive atmos-phere, consisting of a mixture of air andflammable substances in the form ofgas, vapor or mist, is not likely to occurin normal operation but, if it doesoccur, will persist for a brief periodonly.

ModularityBecause our components are designed towork together in a variety of combinations, you can put together a system that meetsyour requirements perfectly.

As the customer, you have the final word on: – Functionality– Performance– Version

You are sure to find all the equipment youneed among the comprehensive range ofproducts offered by Sartorius. When compo-nents from different manufacturers are“thrown together” in a single system, there isusually considerable extra work involved inmaking the components compatible and ingenerating the required documents.

When you get all your equipment from a single source, this extra work is unnecessary, especially with regard to the explosion safetydocuments.

AdaptablePotentially explosive atmospheres usuallyoccur in conjunction with aggressive ambientconditions. This is why many of the productseries from Sartorius include a choice of construction materials without limiting thecombination options:– AISI 304, standard– AISI 304, electropolished– AISI 304, bead-blasted– AISI 316 Ti, electropolished– Painted or epoxy resin coated

ServiceIt is important to us at Sartorius that theservice we offer is easily accessible to all ourcustomers.

At Sartorius, service means:Application-oriented, expert consultation inweighing and process technology
