JOB DESCRIPTION

Plan, monitor, schedule and control project and report status to Discipline Head. Preparation and submission of project design execution plans. Ensure delivery of project mechanical deliverables like material requisition, technical datasheet and

technical/commercial bid evaluations within the scheduled man-hours. Chair inter-discipline project meetings for coordination, review and checking. Demonstrate knowledge of existing and emerging technology and product areas. Prepare man-hour estimates, manpower mobilization, design basis and progress schedules. Facilitate the communication and interaction amongst various stake holders for sub-contracting and

procurement activities. Vendor technical offer and post order drawing review (VDR) and post order vendor coordination. Basic knowledge on selection of static equipment’s like vessels, storage tank etc. Participate in project and vendor kick off meetings. Sourcing/ expediting of documents and across the table approvals for vendor. Identify project scope changes and prepare change order to Clients. Ensure good engineering practices and quality objectives are followed. Site survey and coordination involving problem solving, site study and troubleshooting. Visited sites

like Bina Refinery (India), New Doha International Airport (Qatar), PST Terminal (Bintulu, Malaysia). Knowledge of API, ASME, NFPA, ISO, AS/NZ, IS and BS standards and codes for mechanical

equipments. Knowledge of Specifications of Shell, Saudi Aramco, Petronas, Engineer India Ltd, SABIC etc. for

mechanical equipments Conduct factory inspection and tests (FAT) and packing and shipping schedule. Visit to vendor shops includes Sulzer (India), Kirloskar Ebara (India), PCM (France), Lewa (Germany),
