Each of our six championship courses providesan individual playing experience for all skilllevels. The courses offer dramatic elevation changes,are abound with rolling fairways, impeccableconditions and far-reaching views that contributeto a most memorable round.

Desert Mountain’s Cochise course has a long legacy of hosting major tournaments on the PGA Tour,Champions, including The Tradition, which wasplayed here from 1988-2001. Cochise was also thesite of some of the most memorable shots in the historyof the tournament. Jack Nicklaus made his famous double eagle on the 12th hole and Gary Player made ahole-in-one on the 7th hole and an eagle on the 15thto play the island green four under par. Cochise hasbeen the host of the prestigious Charles Schwab CupChampionship on the PGA Tour, Champions in 2012,2014-2016.

COCHISE COURSEOur 7,026-yard Cochise course is one of the most recognized, as it was the home to The Tradition on the

PGA Tour, Champions for 13 years. We were also honored to host the Charles Schwab Cup Championship for four years.

GERONIMO COURSEGeronimo course opened in 1989. The 7,099-yard layout provides lots of drama with significant elevation changes

and challenging play across deep ravines and scenic plateaus. It has some of the best panoramic views and vistas.

RENEGADE COURSERenegade was the first of our courses to open in 1987. Renegade offers five sets of tees on each hole with two different pin placements

on each green. On each hole you could possibly have ten different combinations to choose from, making this a truly unique course.

APACHE COURSEProviding a more traditional approach to the game, this 7,211-yard course which opened in 1996, features rolling fairways, amplegreens with subtle, grassy collection areas and an enjoyable surprise of a 19th hole to decide ties and complete this superb course.

CHIRICAHUA COURSEThe crown jewel of Desert Mountain’s Nicklaus Signature collection, this 7,197-yard course features elevation changesranging from 3,000 feet to its highest point of 3,300 feet. This course offers stellar panoramic views of the Valley below.

OUTLAW COURSEThe only course with a links-style design, Outlaw opened for play in 2003. This 176-acre site is surrounded by the awe-inspiringTonto National Forest and is known for majestic views. Outlaw plays at 7,100 yards from the golden bear tees.

JIM FLICK GOLF PERFORMANCE CENTER

The $1.6 million Jim Flick Golf PerformanceCenter is equipped with the most advanced technology available in the industry today. This6,500-square-foot, one-stop facility addresses allgolf instructional needs, including technique, golffitness and mental game performance. We utilizethe highest-rated technology, including 3-DDoppler radar-based launch monitors that trackand measure ball flight and club data; a real time,marker-less, gesture recognition golf training andteaching system; a Swing Catalyst force plate thatmeasures your Center of Pressure (COP) fromthe ground up; video analysis consisting of afour-camera set-up; Quintic Ball Monitor; and aScience and Motion Putt Lab. This cutting-edgefacility was formally dedicated to one of thegame’s greatest and most inspiring instructors,Jim Flick, who was Desert Mountain’s PGADirector of Instruction from 1987-2005.

A jewel in the Desert Mountain amenities collection is The Ranch, a western wilderness property on 33 acres andsituated on a magnificent, high elevation site within thecommunity and at the heart of our private, award-winningtrails system.

Members and their guests can schedule guided horseback rideson trails that meander through gorgeous desert and in some areas, border the magnificent Tonto National Forest. To dustoff your riding skills, you can also take beginner riding lessonsin the corral near a 12-stall stable.

Camp overnight in luxury canvas tents with real beds, woodfloors, hot and cold running water, bath and shower with plushtowels, soaps and lotions located in a peaceful and secluded site on the south side of The Ranch.

Our open-air, Native American-style kiva provides a memorablesetting in which to enjoy presentations, musical performances,art classes and several other events.

THE TRAILSThe 15-mile Desert Mountain private trails system consists ofseven trails varying in degree of difficulty for a different hikingexperience on each. The system takes hikers to ContinentalMountain’s eastern slope with Sonoran desert panoramas,through a colorful riparian basin and up to a scenic point withviews extending all the way to Tucson’s Catalina Mountains.Hikers can also climb to a 4,100-foot elevation with awe-inspiringviews of local landmarks. The trails system is the recipient of theAmerican Trails Developer award for design.
