You probably know about ASWB because of the licensing examinations used in our member states and two provinces, but we have other major programs too. You’ll hear more about these from Dwight a little later, but these include: A database that holds information on board actions taken relative to licensees The model law, a resource that provides members with a structure for building what we feel is a “best practices” social work law and regulations A review and approval program for providers of social work continuing education And a repository for individual social worker documents and information needed for licensure, the social work registry These are the biggest programs and services ASWB provides, and you’ll get more detail on them, but that isn’t all…
