INTRODUCTION
This guide will attempt to show the user how to properly remove and replace the monitor withoutdamaging it or any intermediary components.

Step 1 — CD-ROM Player
Lift rubber cover on the back of the laptop.
Remove 5.2 mm screw with a Phillips screwdriver.
Step 2
Using the nylon spudger, remove the back center panel.

Step 3
Remove the 5 mm Phillips screw that is located underneath the back panel.
Step 4
Pull out the optical drive located onthe side of the laptop.

Step 5 — Keyboard
Remove the ten 5.2 mm screws holding the main panel in place, highlighted in the photo, with aPhillips screwdriver.
Remove the four 5.2 mm screws underneath the center panel, highlighted in the photo, with aPhillips screwdriver.
Step 6
Remove the two 6.8 mm screws underneath to back panel, highlighted in the photo, with a Phillipsscrewdriver.

Step 7
Use the plastic opening tool to pry the keyboard from the base of the laptop.
Step 8
Lift the keyboard carefully, otherwise the ribbon connectors may tear or break
Using a pair of tweezers undo each of the four ribbon connectors indicated in photo.
The keyboard is now fully disconnected and you are now free to lift the keyboard away from thecomputer.

Step 9 — Top Rear Panel
Begin by removing the top four rubber stoppers that are highlighted in the photo using a pair oftweezers.
Step 10
Remove the top four 8.5mm screws that are highlighted in the photo using a Phillips screwdriver.

Step 11
The speakers are located on the top facing side of the computer, next to where the screenconnects to the base.
Using a nylon spudger, carefully pry the top back panel off to reveal the speakers.
While removing the top back panel, be careful not to break the four pin connector locatedunderneath.

Step 12
Disconnect the four-pin connector and remove the top back panel from the computer.
Step 13 — Monitor
Carefully disconnect the pinconnector indicated in the photo.

Step 14
Remove the four 6.8 mm screws holding the monitor in place, using a Phillips screwdriver.
Step 15
Lift away the metal housings from the laptop to uncover two additional screws on each side of thelaptop.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

Step 16
Remove the final four 6.8 mm remaining screws using a Phillips screwdriver.
The monitor is now free and can be lifted away from the laptop.
