Dear Instructor:
You have a student in _______________ who is requesting a note taker for this semester. Please read the following to your class as early in the semester as possible:
“There is a student or students in this class asking for a note taker. There can be only one note taker per class who shares copies of notes they take in class. You may make copies of the notes in Disability Support Services (DSS) or request carbon paper through DSS. The note taker is required to provide access to notes he/she would normally take in this class. Note takers will complete the necessary paperwork for payment. The note taker can choose to receive CCE credit or to be paid $60.00 for sharing notes in this class. Amount paid will be pro-rated to reflect time served in the class. If you are interested please raise your hand and take this slip or slips to Debbie Lowery in Disability Support Services. She is located in DF Lowry Building.”
