ASSISTANT COACH/OFFENSIVE LINE
Football
The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, an NCAA Division I member of the Southwestern
Athletic Conference (SWAC) is seeking an outstanding individual who meets the following
qualifications for the position of Assistant Football Coach/Offensive Line: Bachelor’s degree
required as well as significant and successful experience in coaching offensive line units. The
offensive line coach will be charged with the responsibility of assisting the offensive coordinator
in developing offensive game plans, focusing on schemes specifically for the offensive linemen.
The incumbent will assist the head coach in all facets of the football program as he works to
develop a quality NCAA FCS program that will be competitive within the Southwestern Athletic
Conference on the field, in the classroom and in the community.
Specific responsibilities of the offensive line coach will include, but not be limited to: recruiting
qualified student-athletes for success participation; assisting the offensive coordinator in
developing an annual offensive playbook and teach progression; assisting in developing scouting
reports; managing film sessions and meetings; and assisting with monitoring the academic
progress of assigned team members. The offensive line coach must have a working knowledge of
NCAA rules and regulations and must pass the NCAA rules test. He must demonstrate leadership,
sportsmanship and conduct becoming of the coaching profession.
