ROLE: Our client is looking for an Assistant Centre Manager to assist the Centre Manager in continuing to grow and improve their already successful site in Christchurch. With responsibility for the day to day running of the site you will you will be responsible for meeting and greeting customers, building retail quotations and advising customers of their vehicle needs to ensure that the centre continues to provide excellent customer service and continue its current growth and success rate. You will be responsible for the effective operation of the site and report to the Centre Manager and as such you will be an energetic and enthusiastic man manager with the ability to inspire and encourage all members of your team to succeed. You will be a good communicator at all levels and have the fundamental knowledge of all aspects required to run a retail outlet and get the best results from your team. A background in the tyre, automotive parts or fast fit industries is preferred for this role but not a prerequisite. Candidates that are not from within the industry will need to provide evidence of a successful career path within a similar or related industry.
