Introduction The annual STEP Asia Conference returns this year in Singapore to mark its 9th year, after another sell-out event in Hong Kong in 2012. The title of this year’s conference is “Asia: The continent of opportunity” where a selection of some of the best speakers in our industry will discuss trends and developments in wealth management. In a world where more and more families are stretched across the globe, Asia truly is a continent of opportunity and this conference includes sessions on two of the world’s most influential economies – India and China.

The conference is packed with great sessions exploring both regional issues, such as how lawyers can best support the Asian fiduciary industry and family governance for Asian families, as well as international issues, such as Foundations, Sharia succession, civil law issues and how FATCA will affect trustees.

With evening social events included as part of your delegate fee, this conference allows you to not only find out more about developments in Asia, but also to network with fellow practitioners from around the world.

We look forward to welcoming you at what is always a great two days of knowledge, discussion and networking.

Goh, Seow Chee TEP Chair, STEP Singapore
