3.2 December 1st-4th, 2016 Competition.

3.3 December 4th, 2016 Award Ceremony & Gala Dinner at Grand Eastern Restaurant ( 18.30 – 21.00 ) Jalan Pasir Kaliki No. 18 Bandung ( bring Gala Dinner coupons ).

4. Venue Singgasana Sports and Recreation Centre Jalan Galuh Pakuan Barat No. 3, Singgasana Pradana, Bandung 5. Eligibility The tournament is open to all individuals who are 40 years of age ( born in or before 1976 ) and above from all over the world. 6. Events and Age Categories

6.1 Men and Women Team & Singles, age 40 – 49 years 6.2 Men and Women Team & Singles, age 50 – 59 years 6.3 Men and Women Team & Singles, age 60 – 69 years 6.4 Men and Women Team & Singles, age 70 years and above 6.5 Men Team & Singles, age 80 years and above

7. Competition Format

7.1 All Singles matches in the preliminary round shall be played to the best of 5 games. All Singles matches in the second round shall be played to the best of 5 games.

All Team matches in the preliminary round and second round shall be played to the best of 5 games.

7.2 Team events shall be played in 2 stages. The group round-robin system will be used in the qualifying round. The Knock-out system will be used in second stage with play-offs. 7.3 Team Events

7.3.1 The Men’s Team evens shall be played using the Swaythling System as follow : A vs X, B vs Y, C vs Z, A vs Y, B vs X (minimum 2 and maximum 3 players). 7.3.2 The Women’s Team evens shall be played using the Corbillon System as follow : A vs X, B vs Y, Doubles, A vs Y, B vs X ( minimum 2 and maximum 4 players). 7.3.3 If there will be less than 4 entries in any category, teams will automatically play in the next younger category.

7.4 Singles Events 7.4.1 Knock – Out system will be used since the first round until finals. 7.4.2 If there will be less than 8 entries in any category, players will automatically play in the next younger category.

8. Rules

8.1 The tournament shall be conducted in accordance with the latest ITTF regulation for International Competition. 8.2 Proof of age must be available upon request ( e.g. passport ) 8.3 Players are allowed to participate in ONLY ONE age category.

8.4 Players are allowed to participate in the younger age category.

8.5 The Organizing Committee reserves the right to amend the rules and regulations of this tournament at any time without prior notification. Any other rules that are not covered by this bulletin will be decided by the Organizing Committee whose decision will be FINAL. 8.6 All players agree and understand that the organizers and host country only organize the table tennis tournament. Any accident, health issues and etc…shall be at their own risk, own insurance as well as own medical expenses.

9. Prizes 9.1 Team Events – Top four (4) teams in each category will be awarded with medals. 9.2 The Champion will also be presented with a trophy.

Cash prizes : Champion USD 400 First Runner Up USD 200 Second Runner Up USD 100 Second Runner Up USD 100 9.3 Single Events – Top four (4) players in each category will be awarded with medals. The Champion will also be presented with a trophy. Cash prizes : Champion USD 100 First Runner Up USD 50

10. Expenses

All participants shall be responsible for their own expenses, including air tickets, meals and accommodation.

11. Entry Fee :

11.1 Team Event : USD 200 ( including Singles Event and 4 Gala Dinner coupons ) 11.2 Singles Event : USD 30 ( entry fee if participate in Singles Event only ) 11.3 Gala Dinner : USD 30 per person 11.4 Players who are enrolled for the Singles Event only or any other companions wish

to join the farewell party should purchase a dinner coupon at USD 30. 11.5 These fees are the net costs, exclusive of Bank TT charges. 11.6 Please remind that the Bank TT charge is quite high around USD 25 per transaction.

Therefore, teams and/or players should join together and pay in the whole amount at the same time for all entry fees in order to share the Bank TT charge.

13. Registration Procedure

All teams / players must apply for the competition according to available entry form together with the scan of Bank T/T slip via email to [email protected]. The complete registration shall be confirmed by the Organizing Committee ( receipt will be given ).

20. Hotel Reservation and Boarding Pass for Shuttle Buses 20.1 The Organizing Committee has chosen Aston Tropicana Hotel ( 4 stars ) and

Favehotel Premier ( 3 stars ) to become the Basecamp Hotels of the 10th ATTVU Championship. The Sensa Hotel ( 4 stars ), Serela Hotel ( 3 stars ) and Promenade

Hotel ( 3 stars ) are additional hotels in case the Basecamp Hotels are fully booked and only 100 meters distance from the Basecamp Hotels ( + 1 minute walk ).

20.2 The rate of the hotels in US Dollars ( USD ) includes breakfast, government tax and

20.3 The Organizing Committee has been authorized by the hotels to accept room reservations and room payments. The closing date for hotel reservations and room payments is October 31st, 2016.

20.4 The payment for hotel reservation must be made and transferred to the Remittance Account of the Organizing Committee.

20.5 The Organizing Committee uses First-In First-Served System in accepting hotel

reservations.

20.6 The Organizing Committee will give receipt and hotel’s confirmation to players who have made hotel’s room payments.

20.7 The Boarding Pass for the shuttle bus will be given ONLY to players who stay at the

recommended hotels and make hotel reservations through the Organizing Committee.

20.8 2 ( two ) Boarding Passes for the shuttle bus will be given for every 1 ( ONE ) hotel’s room booked. The Boarding Pass will be given by the Organizing Committee to Team Leaders when checking in at the hotels.

20.9 The shuttle buses will stand by at the parking area of Favehotel Premier with the sign

2016 ATTVU CHAMPIONSHIP on the front window of the buses. Please show the boarding pass to the officer in charge of the operation of the shuttle buses.

22. Tour of Bandung on Monday December 5th 2016 22.1 The tour of Bandung is optional and offered only to players who wish to see the beautiful places and icons of Bandung city ( bring shoes, shorts and towels ).

The tour time schedule and program on Monday December 5th 2016 : 07.15 – 07.30 : Boarding on buses at Aston Tropicana Hotel 07.30 – 08.00 : On the way to Saung Angklung Ujo 08.00 – 10.00 : Bamboo Arts and Performances at Saung Angklung Ujo

BAMBOO ARTS AND PERFORMANCES AT SAUNG ANGKLUNG UJO 10.00 – 12.30 : Lunch time and recreation at Floating Market in Lembang

( 20 km north of Bandung, buy and choose your own meal ).

12.30 – 16.00 : Mount Tangkuban Perahu ( 10 km from Lembang ). There are 2 craters, Ratu and Domas. You may walk down to the Domas crater with shoes on ( takes around 25 minutes to go down and 35 minutes to go up again ) and try the experience of boiling eggs in the crater. There is a cafeteria near the Domas crater.

16.00 – 19.00 : Ciater Resort and Hot Spring Water ( + 10 km from Mount

Tangkuban Perahu, bring shorts or swimsuits and towels ). You can bath in the hot spring water pool and get your body a relaxation after having a tight table tennis tournament.

SATAY BUILDING, MOUNT TANGKUBAN PERAHU’S CRATER, CIATER RESORT AND HOT SPRING WATER 22.2 The cost of the tour is USD 60 / person including bus transport and entry tickets to all places.
