Easter Duty Obligation/Obligacion durante las Pascuas: After they have received their First Holy Communion, Catholics are bound by the

obligation of receiving Holy Communion at least once a year. This precept should be fulfilled during the Easter Season. In 2017 this extends from Mar 1st (Ash Wednesday) to Jun 4th (Pentecost).

Catholics are also bound to confess serious (mortal) sins at least once a year, but this is

not limited to the Lenten/Easter Season. Después de recibir la Primera Comunión, todos los Católicos tienen la obligación de

recibir la Comunión por lo menos una vez al año. Esta obligación debe completarse durante las Pascuas de Resurrección. Los Católicos también deben confesarse de todo pecado mortal por lo menos una vez al año, pero esto no esta limitado a la Cuaresma o Pascua de Resurrección.

THE PASCHAL TRIDUUM/EL TRIDUO PASCUAL During this time the church gathers to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus from the dead and the promise of eternal life for the faithful. During these three days the elect will celebrate their baptism and the faithful will renew their commitment to Christ.
