EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Sky Energy SdnBhd is a trading shop that sells watch power bank. Our
business will be operating at No 11-1, JalanPusatPerniagaanSg. Jelok, 43000
Kajang, SelangorDarulEhsan. The reason why we agreed to operating at this
place is because this place are located near to the commercial place in Kajang
that is Metro Point and Metro Kajang other than easy public transportation to get
to our place. We also choose this place based on the population of the people at
Kajang as we can see that Kajang has the big population of people who love to
use a powerbnk and it is a big potential for us to sell our product. The type of this
business is a Partnership form that built up by 5 partners, whereby each partners
contribute RM 30,000 where all the total contribution is RM 150,000.
The objective of our business is to provide the watch power bank and also
information about it to the power bank lovers. Other than selling the products, we
also provide membership to our loyal customers which they are been given the
member’s privileges from our shop which other customers don’t have. The
privileges for our members are that they will be updating with the latest design
about pattern, color and also other specifications. Based from our research that
we have conduct before we agreed to form this business, we found out that the
only nearest competitors will be at Semenyih which it will be about 4km to
Kajang. Furthermore, the competitors only sell the power bank unlike us who
focusing mainly on the new innovation of the power bank and start up a new
trend of watch power bank.
As in the future we are hoping that we can expand our business by having
more branches and perhaps we can be the largest watch power bank store in
Malaysia. We believe that watch power bank has it owns groups of fan and it has
been widely spread as it has become a new trend in not just Malaysia but in
Japan and most of the developing countries. From there we believe that we can
gain our opportunity by following the trends of the consumers.

BUSINESS IDEA AND GOALS
Product that we design which will facilities all phones for android namely is
“watch power bank”. Watch power bank are the combination between the normal
watch and innovate it with the power bank in 1 thing. This is also come with the
USB intermediate wire to charge the power bank included. We design this
product is to easy consumer parties it bring that product to where only they go.
Contrasts with our product design consumer watch can bring and charge the
android anywhere with the USB wire and watch only for the period that is old.
MARKETING
For marketing we use the marketing strategies is 4Ps for our product. In
first P is product. We make this product to give easy to customer and the
customer can brought the product is anywhere. Second is price we take the price
is very low. For each unit we sell just about RM 150 only. For the third is about
our place. Our shop is at Kajang Selangor. We choose a strategic place to open
our company and shop. The last is about promotion our company promote our
business by creating a banner; advertise in television advertising, radio, and
catalogue/pamphlet to view our product description.
FINANCE
We process or create this product by using a capital from ourselves
namely our nest egg to create be facilities all those people wish to use our
product. Other than that nest egg that we use, we also made loan money on
prominent bank in Malaysia to support our capital to create this product. Nest egg
we use as much as RM 150,000. Money that we borrow a loan from bank as
much as RM100,000 to back up our business operation if something loss
happen. Total amount we use to provide this product “watch power band” is RM
250,000. And price for per unit is only RM 150.

This is the location of our company at China which located at Shenzen, a major
city in China. We joint venture with Yoobao Company from home country and
Swatch Company from Malaysia in order to export and market our Watch Power
Bank at Malaysia.

(WATCH POWER BANK)
Power bank is also called “plug-in battery, external battery, back up
battery and charging battery” of the digital products. The concept of power bank
is with the popularity and rapid growth of digital products. Its definition is
convenient and easy to carry large-capacity. Digital product functionality is
increasingly diverse.
With the development of global economy and the improvement of people's
living standard, there are more and more portable digital products involved in
people's life, such as mobile phone, PDA, MP3, MP4,etc. which all come with
batteries. However, these batteries cannot meet people's need of ordinary use
because of their low capacity. Furthermore, it's their busy working period while
you are traveling or on business trip. It often happiness that , while you are
talking on phone, or you are taking pictures with your digital camera, or you are
working with your PDA, etc., the batteries run out of power. How anxious and
helpless you will be under these circumstances. Moreover, it's unreasonable for
you to buy a backup battery for each device. Not only will it cost you much
money, it also increase burden to your trip.
Therefore, we developed a new kind of "universal battery" that can solve
the problem of power supply for most portable equipment. It's our latest product

DIRECTION TO USE
1. To charge the wristband portable battery
To charge the watch power bank, please use the USB to Mini USB charging
cable from the cable box of the watch power bank’s portable battery. Plug USB
end to any standard USB port and plug the Mini USB end to the watch power
bank’s portable battery. While charging, the 4 LED lights of the watch power
bank’s portable battery will turn on to indicate the device is under charging.
When charging is finished, all 4 LED lights will be turned off.
2. To charge user’s own devise
Plug the Mini USB to 3511 DC female cable to the watch power bank’s portable
battery and choose the suitable connectors to charge their device.
Note: The wristband portable battery only provide the standard USB
power to the device, which is 5V 500mA.

1. Market Research
Our research also will be based on market segmentation. We choose two education
centres around Kuala Lumpur which is Universiti Kuala Lumpur and Kolej Poly Tech
Mara Cheras as our research place to get information about rating of students who like
to use watch power bank. We choose randomly male and female of 100 students from
UNIKL while 100 students from KPTM to make research. Based on our information,
there are 1,200 students at Universiti Kuala Lumpur and there is 2,100 students at Kole
Poly-Tech Mara Cheras. Below are the percentages of student who are the using power
bank in their daily life.

From the survey by giving questionnaire, it shows that there are 60% from 100 students
of UniKL are using power bank and overall of them giving a positive feedback about our
product we are proposing which is watch power bank, while there are 40% of 100
students in Kolej Poly Tech Mara Cheras are also giving a feedback like that. Both of
this education centres mostly their student are high living standard. From this survey,
we conclude this product have quiet demand among student because totally get more
than 50 percent supported to market this product.
Interview
We has interview the student based on their opinion with the current power bank
in the market and what the improvement they want to make with it if giving
chances. The example question that we ask such as “is it this product could go
far?” .The answer that we get mostly supported by them. Also we interview them
what is their opinion about this watch power bank whether it can give benefit and
satisfaction to them or not.

With this technology era, most people are using the smart phone. Based on
survey Table 2 above, entire people give comment that their smart phone is quite
fast run out of battery. So they need a power bank to supply extra battery for their
smart phone. So the power bank becomes a need in their lifestyle. The light
weight, small size and good design are more preferable as it is easy for them to
bring while lecture.

though only a few percent. This product has been launched since 2011 and increased
only 5 percent, then it increase a little bit that is 2 percent. But it could give big impact to
market for such new product to enter market.

focus is to fulfill customer requirement by providing a complete facility for gadget lovers.
Because of that, we have identified the target market for our business which is the

and etc. Addicted with this social media will lead to smart phone running out of battery
when the social media has become a priority for them to update every moment. Student
can use watch power bank while attend lectured time. For the general worker such as
dispatch and driver also encouraged to have this device because this could be
advantage for the long journey to make them comfortable while driving on road.

Our Company chose to build a good relationship which is joint ventures with our
suppliers to run the business. Our company partners are Yoobao from the home
country, and Swatch from Malaysia. Other than that, we also build a relationship with
Celcom and Picom Pc Fair to help us promote, develop and expand our product to
international. Thus, we communicate with them, make a good relationship and also put
some effort and trust to build up each other and we try to give benefit for both parties.
To make our business successful in future we continuously connected with our supplier
to have a strong relation with them.
1. YAOBAO
Yoobao is the biggest company which sells a variety type of power bank. Yoobao
Corporation has set on their name in the top company in this market. We grab on
this opportunity to make a business relationship by make them as our supplier to
supply all the material of doing a power bank and use their name in order to
promoting our product.
To save our cost and budget, we order the things from our supplier in four times
a year. This means at once in 3 months because we want to maintain the quality
of our products.
2. SWATCH
Swatch is already reaching the top of the watch industry. We had chosen
Swatch to be our supplier to supply watch to our company. The watch that has
been made will we renovate it with the Yaobao component of doing the power
bank.
Besides, Swatch is a well-known brand and famous at Malaysia. So when
customer familiar with this brand automatically customer will recognize our
product and they believe the quality at our watch power bank. Furthermore, we
choose digital type of watch and water-resistant. Thus, our watch power bank
looks like adventurous and resilient when people use it.

3. CELCOM
Celcom had provided a special rack for the power bank from any company who’s
paid for them a loyalty to put their power bank at that rack. So, from that chance,
we had paid a loyalty to Celcom to put our product on that rack, so that we easily
can catch on customer’s eyes to look and view on our watch power bank.
4. PICOM FAIR
As we know that PICOM Fair are the biggest event for computer and gadget. The
event will be held on every year, and there has a million visitors to come there to
survey on latest gadget. We alert on this issue and take this opportunity to join
the fair and promoting our new watch power bank to people.

To introduce our business to our customer, we have done some promotion
strategies that contain information about our business’s product with the purpose to
attract our target customer.
Signboard
Besides using banner and business cards to promote our business, we also use
signboard for our shop to let people know about our business and services that we
offer. It also makes it easier for those who want to find our shop. We put our company’s
name, registered number, telephone and fax number.
Launching event
We will launch our shop by doing a launching event. In that day, we will organize a
game and contest and we will distribute our shop free t-shirt to contestant and to lucky
guest. The budget is RM10,000. The event will be held at our shop in after a week we
open our shop. The event will be advertised at social media, television, banner and
brochure. All competition entrance is free.

We have our own website which the customer can browse to see us on line by typing

customer to get a feedback from our services and get recommendation to improve our
business. We found that these tactics are the most effective way for us to gather the
information. For instance we are giving the feedback form to our existing customer to
improve or retain the best service of us to customer.

We also will advertise our shop in popular web such as PICOM PC Fair. We
advertise at this web because it is a place for power bank fans to updates their info.
Advertising our business in internet would help to introduce the business to everyone.
The cost of fee to web creator will be RM800.
Business card
We have ordered business cards from Happy Advertising and the cost for 1 person for
this business card is RM10 for 1 box. We use it as to promote our business. This
business card will be given to our customers because this is the easier way for our
customer to contact us back to ask for our services.
Banner
We use a very different banner for our business. The banner will be really colorful ad
creative and we will hang it in front of our premises. With this promotion strategy, it will
help our customer to find our place easily as we will place it at the top of our building.
Our customer can easily know the place and familiar with it and for the next time visits
they will not have any problem to find the place because we are using a large banner
with a clear title of “SKY ENERGY”. The cost of banner is RM1.50 for one square feet.
Advertisement
We will advertise our shop through a well-known web such as at PICOM PC Fair. Lot of
new product will be advertising there. So, it is our opportunity to promote our shop. The
cost to advertise in those magazines is RM 1000 for one issue. The size is half page
horizontal bleed and the size is 13.5cm x 19cm.

EVALUATION OF MARKETING
From the point above we can see the marketing strategies are suitable and mix
with the operational and financial status. It could be the first model to achieve the
objective of marketing. We can predict that in the next 6 months of our business
operation, we are able to reach our target market and believe that our customer
increase year by year following the trend. In the period within 6 months, we also believe
that people are well-known about the born of watch power bank which is the first
innovation product of power bank.
In the planning of promotion, within the period, we will be establishing a new
small branch in other place in order to reach our customer nearer. We will build up a lot
of banner, brochure and pamphlet to promoting our product. Also, we will start create an
advertising at television to make people easy to get the information about our product,
by promoting an actress to be our model for this product.
This is based on our sales trend predictable which we are predicting it to be
increasing year by year, as this is a new innovation product and fewer competitors to be
competing. We also will sign the agreement with the PICOM to be the one of the
compulsory booth to promote our product when the carnival of PC Fair every year. This
will give us the big opportunity to larger our market. Within the period also, we are
predict that our product are well-known among others. We will expanding our business
scope to the multi-level marketing which we will provide the opportunity to other people
who are interested to join our business as a reseller of our product and make a profit by
selling it and collect the point of purchasing.

Creating and nurturing a strong relationship with a customer is the key to the
ongoing success of a business. A strong customer relationship not only means that the
client is likely to keep doing business with a provider over the long-term, it also means

others are greatly enhanced. For Sky Energy, we had 5 ways on how we are going to
keep and maintaining the relationship with our customer.
Maintain Multiple Lines Of Communication That The Customer May Use
Along with traditional communication tools like telephone calls, site visits, and
mailings by post, offer email, instant messaging, client forums and online access
to customer usage and billing data. But following the trend, we will also follow up
our customer via wassap, facebook, forum on blog, and group of text messaging.
Multiple options means that clients who do not care for telephone calls and prefer
the convenience of communicating via email can participate in ongoing
interaction on their terms.
Provide Full Disclosure When Interacting With A Client
This means we are focusing on providing a complete answer in response to the
customer queries and concerns. We also will always be honest in those
communications and set reasonable expectations for getting back to clients if we
need to do some research before making a response. Doing so leaves the
impression that what the customer will thinks matters greatly and that the
customer is in fact of our priority.

This way that used by Sky Energy has includes seeking suggestions on new
features or products that would interest the customer, as well as critiques of
current products and features. We will always listen carefully and respond in a
manner that lets the client know we understand the suggestions or critiques that

The warranty card is given to our customer for purchasing our product as we are
very care about the safety of our product and also our customer satisfaction. This
also was called as a post-purchased, where we will keep maintaining our
relationship with our customer. In one year, if there are any broken on our
product as it was our fault, we will change it one-to-one with the new watch
power bank to our customer.

As part of our analysis, we had decided to open our business at Kajang,
Selangor Darul Ehsan. We are existing business premises venturing from January
2013, Sky Energy Berhad owning the property of three sty end lot shop lot. We are
running space of combination of factor and business activities in one building since we
are still new in the market. We held business activities on selling and promoting our
Watch External Power Bank would be on the ground floor and another two levels are for
manufacturing activities and administration office. Space taken was 1600 square feet.

Our Premise
The reason why we choose at Kajang, Selangor because the place has become
a business center. We also believe that it has a potential to expand our business since it
was near with TESCO, banks, hospital, housing residents, colleges, offices and linked
to main road. So, it is surrounded by workers, students and teenager in the
neighborhood. This is our opportunities to produce more and selling our watch external
power bank as the price is very reasonable.
As our product is also based on online selling product, we have our own
distribution strategy like shipping, postage and free delivery. Customer does not need to
come for the product ordered but the product will come to them. It will make customer
more love to product.
As our target market is workers, students and teenagers, they are exposed more to
the social media. So, communication is very important to make sure customers always
keep in touch with us. We have set up one forum or comment page on their own
website to easily make customers share their views or comments. We also make many
awareness campaigns to make our customer aware of their store and the product
offered.
To maintain a good relationship with customers Sky Energy Sdn.Bhd also has
produced a loyalty program called loyalty card as the attraction to them keeps
purchasing with our company especially to students because they love discounts. This
card functions when customer wants to make order any Sky Energy Sdn.Bhd product.
Just key in their membership or loyalty product before make an order, customer will
earn reward points to use against future purchases.
So, from the reasons above, it easier for us to operate our business and distribute
our watch power bank. As the place is becoming the concentration of people, we easily
can get our customers and them also easy to reach us.

CONCLUSION
For the conclusion, our company are successful company due to our company
have fully supported by our customer and without customer we unable to stand
successful nowadays. Therefore in term to give return to our beloved customer and at
the same time increase our sale, our company will provide user friendly of e-marketing
in our website. On other hand, our company must maintain and improve our strategy so
that we can compete with our competitor. In term of achieving our goal all staff of our
company must work together as a team to achieve a goal even though we facing many
consequences regarding our task.
To become a successful business company, we must always put our customer in
the first place like other people say “customer is always right”. Without customer they
will be no watch power bank product and without customer our company cannot gain
profit. So business is not just to gain profit but on how we sale the product to customer
and at the same time we contribute back to society so that the society can share with
us.
