Rough outline My opening sequence will be about the abduction of
a 10 month old baby
called Finlay.
He will be in the park playing with his mum, she gets distracted
in a
conversation she looks back and he Is gone with an empty buggy
on the
other side of the play park.
I will show a flashback to show her receiving a note in the post
saying
hushh little baby dont you cry and then show someone running
away.

your text?
Sound -I will be using a slow paced music to make my opening
sequence
more dramatic possibly Adell turning tables
Mise-en-scene I will mainly be filming outside so all the
lighting will be
natural light apart from the few shots that are inside where
paper is
burned so it will still be natural light with a small amount of
artificial light
when she opens the letter in the hallway.
Mise-en-scene- the clothing that will be worn is casual every
day ware.
Cinematography- The shots that I will use will vary I will
mainly be using
long, medium, and medium close up and close up shots. I will use
one high
angle shot.
Editing- I will make sure that all my shots mesh together well
and that
there is no continuity editing.
What representations will
be offered in your text?
I am trying to represent children and devoted mothers that will
do
anything for their child, I am also trying to represent heart
break by the
types of shots and music that I will use. It will also represent
kidnapping.
How will you test if the
production is successful?
I will show screenings of my opening sequence then film my
feedback that
I get.
