Usually in the world of sound and cinema, you have to choose between great design and great performance. There are exceptions of course, but in general, that’s the way it is. Especially when it comes to loudspeaker design; if it looks good, it’s unlikely to sound good, and for some reason, if it sounds good, it very rarely looks good. At Artcoustic, we have never accepted this idea. So when you buy an Artcoustic speaker, you get the best of both worlds. They sound great, because we have brought years of knowledge and experience to bear on designing speakers that reproduce music and movie soundtracks faithfully, accurately and in breathtaking detail and they appeal to the eye because we came up with the idea of interchangeable screens. Quite simply, you choose how your speakers look. We have a wide portfolio of beautiful patterns and designs, and of pictures from artists and photographers including an array of iconic images from the Getty Images Gallery. We also offer a bespoke printing service where you can provide an image, for example a commissioned artwork or photograph, and we print this on to screens for your speakers. As the screens are interchangeable the image can be changed whenever you like. You choose how your speakers look, so they always complement rather than conflict with any interior design.

The new SL range is the result of over 12 years research and development, and utilises the very latest drive unit and crossover technology. The SL range has been subjected to 3 years of intensive testing and design, with 6 months of fine tuning to deliver a truly unique and ground breaking loudspeaker range. The challenge was to create a loudspeaker capable of the dynamics and power of a horn loaded design, but with the accuracy and quality of a hi-fi design. The solution was to employ an array of world class drive units to provide incredible efficiency, output and accuracy, whilst also staying true to Artcoustic's signature design ethos.

The SL range is designed to be complimentary and flexible, allowing the correct model to be specified for the correct application. From small flat screen TV based systems to

state-of-the-art private cinemas, as well as bars, restaurants, places of worship, in fact, anywhere where high performance sound is required. With consistent timbre and sound qualities throughout the range, the correct model is the one that delivers the output levels desired together with aesthetics to suit the environment. Artcoustic's huge portfolio of artworks and designs uniquely allows serious quality sound to be installed with no compromise to the interior design, and due to the large and expansive SL range, there is always a model to suit the application.

The Duo SL subwoofer', It will come as no surprise to those who are already familiar with our model names and numbers that this subwoofer incorporates two of the drive units used in the Panel Sub Micro. The Diablo Target is an extremely versatile and accurate monitor speaker. Its compact size makes it easy to accommodate in the most space-restricted environments, while its performance and sheer power belie the size of the enclosure. Artcoustic pioneered the concept of incorporating front left, right and centre channel speakers in one unit, and the evolution of this is the DF-Multi X2. Artcoustic’s flexible design make it possible for the DF-Multi X2 to serve as either an LCR all in one, or as one high end centre channel speaker.

The DF-Multi X2 produces stunning clarity with incredible dynamics – all in the most elegant design. As an LCR it is perfect for the most discrete flat screen home cinemas. As a high end centre channel it is breathtaking! The DF-Multi X2 incorporates four 4" woofers and six rippled dome tweeters, extending the high frequency response to 40kHz at 96dB (1w +/-2dB). The DF-Multi is ideal for small to medium sized home cinema installations, and for corporate presentation facilities. The DF-Multi is the first of its kind and it is an icon of Artcoustic’s innovative product development.

The DFF180-43 PRO is the most powerful full range model in Artcoustic range, and the pinnacle of our achievements in loudspeaker design. Its performance is sublime, whether it’s reproducing blockbuster movie soundtracks or the most delicate, fragile piece of classical music. True to Artcoustic’s design ethos, the DFF180-43 PRO is beautifully elegant, offering all the design options to ensure that it remains stunning in any interior. The DFF180-43 PRO epitomises what Artcoustic stands for: World class performance, with stunning individual design. Truly unique. The DFF180-43 PRO incorporates two 10" X2 long-throw woofers, taking the bass response down to an incredible 15Hz. At this sort of frequency, you don’t so much hear the bass as feel it!. At the other end of the frequency spectrum, response extends to 18kHz at 100dB (1w +/-2dB), thanks to the constant directivity compression horn. The speakers can be wall-mounted or, with the addition of a removable base unit, used as floor stander.The DFF180-43 PRO is ideal for use in high-end installations, where sound quality is paramount, such as mid-field to full-space studio monitoring, for medium to large sized home cinema installations, and for commercial use in bars, restaurants and corporate presentation facilities, including commercial movie theatres.
