Conclusion

• Roman styles of art were “borrowed” and expanded upon from the Ancient Egyptian Cultures. Although differences do occur between each of the time periods, it makes sense that these changes would come about as the technology of the civilizations evolved. For example, the Ancient Egyptians were the first to create relief sculpture which was most likely a pre-cursor to sculpture.
