Publications JOURNALS: Leonardo, published bimonthly, is the official journal of Leonardo/ISAST.

The Leonardo MusicJournal with CD is published annually. ELECTRONIC RESOURCES AND NEWSLETTERS: The Fine Art, Science and

Technology (FAST) database directory and archive is available as a disk sub-

scription. FineArt Forum is a free monthly, electronic newsletter. Leonardo Electronic Almanac is a monthly, electronic newsletter available free to Leonardo subscribers and for $25/year to non-Leonardo subscribers. Both newsletters are available over the Internet computer networks.

NEWSLETTERS: Space Art News is a quarterly newsletter covering the cultural dimen- sions of space exploration.

Awards The Society awards the following medals and prizes to honor significant contributions made by individuals toward the synthesis of the contemporary arts, science and technology: Frank J. Malina Leonardo Award for Lifetime Achievement recognizes eminent artists who through a lifetime of work have achieved a synthesis of contemporary art, science and technology. Winners include Gyorgy Kepes, Nicolas Sch6ffer, Max Bill and Takis. Leonardo Award for Excellence recognizes excellence in an article published in Leonardo. Winners include Rudolf Arnheim, Otto Piene, Charles Ames, Frieda Stahl, Donna Cox, Janet Saad-Cook, and George Gessert. Leonardo New Horizons Award for Innovation is given to individuals or groups for innovation in new media. Winners include Evelyn Edelson-Rosenberg, Jean-Marc Philippe, Jaroslav Belik, Peter Callas, Patrick Boyd, Christian Schiess and I Wayan Sadra.
