Tad Zurlinden was a founder member and has been the CEO of ARP since 1988 and has worked alongside successive councils to support and promote the association, but more importantly, the interests of its members. Tad started his professional life in relocation in the UK, working to support both private and corporate clients moving into Edinburgh, Scotland’s vibrant capital city. Tad was approached in 1988 by the UK industry to head up

the then embryonic Association of Relocation Agents. In the following years, Tad has become a very well known figure in the mobility industry and speaks on relocation across the world. Tad is also the CEO of EuRA.

Along with his business partner, Geoff set up Hessel in 1994 to solve the compliance problems multinational companies experience tracking, paying and reporting the chaotic money flow created by international assignments. Since then they have built the company from two men in a shed to a 25 strong workforce, managing millions of global mobility transactions for an enviable and long standing list of the world’s leading companies. Geoff’s

key responsibility is to maintain the integrity of the data flow required to deliver accurate, accountable and timely relocation expense management. This includes staying ahead of the technology curve.

Nicola Cook refers to herself as Chief Opportunity Officer rather than ‘CEO' of Company Shortcuts a sales acceleration agency dedicated to improving the sales performance of UK businesses that, in her opinion, lag woefully behind in global rankings. As you would expect she’s published (twice), award winning, knowledgeable and a brilliant speaker! (Look her up).

Simon Johnston has been in the relocation industry since February 1988 originally working for one of the largest relocation companies in the UK before becoming the Relocation Manager of Nestle UK. In September 2001, Simon formed Icon Relocation Ltd with Icon

Moving Services following in 2010 with offices in Sussex and Hertfordshire. Simon is a member of ERC, EuRA, ARP and the FEM and holder of the GMS qualification. The company secured the ‘Winner’ award by FEM in the European Destinations Services Provider category in 2014 ‘Runner Up’ in 2012 and ‘Highly Commended’ in 2013.

Dave Coplin is author of two books on the need to re-think the usage of technology in the modern world. He is currently the Chief Envisioning Officer for Microsoft UK and an established thought leader on the role of technology in our personal and professional lives. He has worked across a wide range of industries and customers, providing strategic

advice and guidance around the intersection of a modern society and technology both inside and outside of the world of work. His latest book, “The Rise of the Humans” provides a call to action for both individuals and organisations to harness, not hate, the digital deluge, to rise up and take back control of the potential that technology offers our society. Dave can be found on Twitter – @dcoplin and at his online home www.theenvisioners.com

Sophy King graduated from Cambridge University in the UK with a degree in Oriental Studies (Chinese) in 2000 and has lived overseas in Russia, China, Japan and, most recently, Spain. Sophy has worked for two large and well-known global immigration service providers, working her way up from an Assistant Immigration Consultant position in 2003 to Director of Knowledge Management in 2010. In 2011, she founded Peregrine Immigration Management Ltd. Peregrine is a global immigration consultancy specialising in project work,

training, consulting and immigration software. Peregrine launched the award-winning Immiguru knowledge database in 2012 and is following this up in 2014 with Immigo, a revolutionary new global immigration case management system.
