There was a time when veterans came home to a big welcome from their communities, filled with parades and celebrations. These traditions, like our veterans, have been forgotten. In the spirit of remembering our veterans, Lafayette Rotary Club has partnered with other veteran organizations to arrange tonight’s picnic and show.

Veterans from WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, and all who served our country are joined tonight by active duty military personnel.

Tonight we honor veterans and our active duty troops from all 5 branches of the military.

We are here tonight to say THANK YOU for protecting our country and our freedoms.
