Malaysia: Civil Service It has been reported that the Prime Minister views the civil service as having been compromised during the previous administration and is disappointed that civil servants have become compliant and passive. Pray: For separation of powers which is

crucial for check and balance. That civil servants will carry out their

duties with enthusiasm, dedication, integrity and transparency.

That every form of corruption and evil practice will be rooted out.

That decision-makers, implementers and enforcers will endeavour to carry out fully the objectives and fulfil the goals of the government.

Christians in the civil service will be agents of change and transformation, and will take the lead in providing exemplary service.

Ask God to bless the civil servants and provide for their every need.

That Malaysians will appreciate and encourage the civil servants for their service and hard work.

Mission – Yew On & Chern Chern Pray: For the Lord’s presence during the

dental outreach to Wisdom Nest school children in the Baray District on 23 October to minister to the children’s needs.

Continue to pray for favour in the renewal of the MoU with the University of Health Sciences.

earthquake and tsunami in Palu & Donggala:

O God,

hold those who are hurting comfort those who are in mourning

calm those who are panicking surround with safety those who are

traumatised shelter those who are homeless

be a beacon of wisdom and guidance for those directing rescue operations.

As You entered into the blood, sweat

and tears of life Help us to enter into lament, love and

solidarity with our sisters and brothers in

Indonesia standing together with those You love

in their time of deepest need. May they know they are not alone.
