Objective of the workshop:This workshop will provide opportunity
to schoolcompleted students a base to robotics and inspire
themabout potential contribution of the incorporation ofrobotics in
the automation of manufacturing industriesThe workshop focuses on
application and use oftechnology rather than their internal working
for betterunderstanding.
About the workshop:Industry has benefited drastically from the
expanse of arobotic work force. Automated machines have takenover
the duties of dangerous and mundane jobs fromhumans, allowing
greater productivity. Because robotsnever tire, extra shifts have
been added to factories. Theidea of a factory with no human workers
has come tofruition. IBM runs a "lights off" factory in
Texascompletely staffed by fully autonomous robots makingkeyboards.
The resource persons of the workshop haveample years of experience
in the areas of robotsmanufacturing and operation who shall
coverapplication possibilities of robots in
manufacturingindustries. Department of Manufacturing Engineering
isproud to organize this 2 day National level workshopcovering
topics on application of robots. The Workshopis conducted in
collaboration with MTAB Engineers(P)Ltd under corporate social
