Academic Projects Undertaken

Front-End Design: Designing a 4-bit ALU, various FSM like Bubble-sort algorithms, Min-Max finder etc. in Verilog HDL and simulating it using models.

FPGA implementation of UART with BIST Capabilities: Established PC to PC serial communication link using Universal Asynchronous Receive/Transmit with embedded Built in Self-Test (BIST) capabilities. The entire system has been developed using Xilinx ISE 9.2i and verified using ISE Simulator and MODELSIM.

Link Budget Analysis: Designed a wireless “last mile” system for an internet link at 10 Mbps from an optical trunk to homes in Ku band with a total system bandwidth of 100 MHz

Socket Programming Project: Simulated a resource discovery/file-sharing network using hybrid architecture with TCP and UDP sockets.

Home Automation using Solar Energy: Established use of solar panel in home automation. Using different system element like sensors, controllers, user and I/O interface, programming computers, we can operate tasks in HVAC, lighting, security, audio-visual, intercoms etc.
