Solar System

Everything in the Solar System orbits or revolves around the Sun.

The Sun is a star at the center of our solar system. It is about 5 billion years old. Our sun affacts the seasons, climate, wether, currents on the ocean and circulation of the air in the atmosphere

In our solar system are 8 planets,They are Mercury,Venus,Earth,Mars,Jupiter,Saturn,Uranus,Neptune

The result of the planets trying to fly away, at the time that the Sun is trying to pull them inward is that they become trapped half-way in between.

There are olso dwarf planets like Pluto or Eris.

Asteroids and comets are part of the Solar System. Asteroids are pices of rocks and metal that flote in space and comets are made of rock and ice.

Our Solar system has one star that is called Sun.

It contains lines of ionized and neutral metals and very weak hydrogen lines.

It generates its energy by nuclear fusion of hydrogen into helium.
