Aims of the Investigation

• To deliver documents to personnel – In a timely manner.– With relevance to their current röle.– With a supporting rhetorical and persuasive

argument.

Why?

• There is too much information.

• Some of it is useful - much of it isn’t.

• People don’t seek it out.

• If it’s delivered they are more likely to read it.

How?

• Adapting legal argument techniques to argue about the content of documents rather than concepts of law.

• Two systems– Choose the documents.– generate the supporting argument.
