Dear Students,

What do you see in the above pictures? — the word MATH? A bunch of numbers? Artworks madeof digits?

All of the above? That’s right. But do you know that the above artworks were built with tons ofMath? You see, Math can be fun, challenging, and artful at the same time!

I invite you to join the Argonaut Math Olympiad program. This program is sponsored by the PTA,and run by a group of dedicated parents. In this program, you will:

? Enjoy a good time with your friends learning interesting Math concepts

? Solve challenging logic puzzles

? Learn how to think creatively and critically

? Compete in the world-wide Math Olympiad contest

? Be part of the highly successful Argonaut Math teams (top 10%)

? Win prizes and awards

? Discover the thrill and satisfaction of meeting challenges

? Be proud of yourself

We meet every Tuesday from 7:00 PM to 8:20 PM from September to March. If you are a 4th-graderor 5th-grader, chance is that more than half of your classmates either joined MO last year, and willjoin this year, so why not you? And you don’t need to be a Math whiz to join. All you need is acurious mind, a big critical thinking hat, and a willingness to tackle challenges. Does this describeyou? It does? Great, you’ll fit right in!
