The MegaDome 2’s functionality will allow systems integrators to install the cameras without locally fixing the field of view or focus of the camera. All lens operations can be remotely controlled from the head end to refine the field of view and focus of the scene. Short or full range focus scan functions analyze the local or full scene to determine the best focus for the chosen field of view. Arecont Vision MegaDome® 2 AV1255AM is a day/night camera offering 1.3 megapixel resolution at 42 frames per second (fps), with the Arecont Vision MegaDome®2 AV2255AM providing 1080p full HD resolution at 32fps and the AV2255AM has Casino Mode to ensure consistent 30fps recording for those users needing guaranteed frame rates. At higher resolutions, the Arecont Vision MegaDome® 2 AV3255AM delivers 3 megapixel day/night imaging at 21fps, with the Arecont Vision MegaDome®2 AV5255AM offering 5 megapixel resolution at 14fps, both offering a Binned Mode to improve low-light performance. All four dome cameras are available with a heater as a total Power-overEthernet (PoE) solution needing no ex-ternal power for the heater. The MegaDome®2 ONVIF family will be further expanded with 10 megapixel resolution, IR (Infrared) and WDR (Wide Dy-namic Range) models in the coming months. This new camera combines either 1.3, 1080p, 3 or 5 megapixel resolutions in IP66 environmentally rated and IK10 vandal-resistant domes. Features include an easily adjustable 3-axis gimbal to simplify installation using 360-degree pan, 90-degree tilt and 360-degree z-axis adjustments. These PSIA and ONVIF-conforming cam-eras also have a dual H.264/MJPEG encoder as well as privacy masking, flexible cropping, multi-streaming, extended motion detection and forensic digital PTZ.

Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) Compact Cameras:

Arecont Vision's Wide Dynamic Range megapixel cameras provide a dynamic range of up to 100dB repre-senting up to a 50dB improvement compared to traditional non-WDR cameras, which is equivalent to 300 times wider dynamic range. In addition to providing the highest dynamic range 1080p and 3 megapixel cameras in the security indus-try, these cameras also deliver the industry's highest frame rates of 32 frames-per-second (fps) for 1080p high definition (Full HD) cameras and 21fps for 3 megapixel cameras. Other features of Arecont Vision's new Wide Dynamic Range cameras include compact size, an H.264 (MPEG-4 Part 10) and MJPEG dual encoder, use of a binning technique to improve low-light performance, PSIA (Physical Security Interoperability Alliance) and ONVIF (Open Network Video Interface Forum) con-formance. WDR cameras include the 1080p AV2116DN and 3 megapixel AV3116DN WDR cameras with day/night

and auto-iris options.

Exacq Vision

16:9 Viewing Panes

Version 4.11 adds full support throughout for true 16:9 viewing panes in live view,

search and playback, thumbnail search, exporting and playback through the Media

Player, and through exacqReplay. There can be any mixture of 4:3 and 16:9 aspect

ratio cameras. The live view pane size defaults to the most prevalent number of ei-

ther 4:3 or 16:9 cameras.

Version 4.11 of the exacqVision Video Management Software is now available. This latest version updates exacqVision Start,

Pro, Enterprise, and Edge, and is compatible with allexacqVisionservers (hybrid, IP and COTS servers). It incorporates new

features, enhancements and improvements, continuing the delivery of regular software updates.

Version 4.11 continues the client optimization by adding support for multithreading

for faster client display.

Search Current View

The right-click instant search now can search the current multi-camera view.

New Quick Export Feature

A new Quick Export button has been added. Simply select cameras, start time,

stop time and hit the Quick Export button. The single or multi-camera export will

take place in the background, using another core of the client PC processor. The

user can then immediately do additional searches, go back to live, or other func-

tions, while the Quick Export is working in the background.

New Time as Trigger Event Linking Feature

VARIO is a complete family of Infra- Red and White-Light low voltage illuminators, combining the latest advances in optics, remote control, electronic feedback and green technology into an outstanding all-round package. VARIO’s sophisticated optical system provides interchangeable lensing, allowing users to adjust the angle of illumination on site

to a precise and pre-defined angle. A standard VARIO kit includes interchangeable lenses to deliver angles of 10, 35 and 60 de-

grees out of the box; enough flexibility to cover most applications. Other angles are available on request.

VARIO allows cameras to produce much better night-time images, and achieves longer illumination distances compared to

standard LED lighting. This is thanks to elliptical (oval) beam patterns with hot-spot reduction technology (HRT), delivering a

highly diffused beam shape to deliver a softer more even light distribution where it is needed. The HRT system minimises light

wastage outputted into the foreground and up into the sky, generating both longer distances and reducing overexposure of fore-

ground objects – producing the very best CCTV images at night.

VARIO is the only illuminator in the industry to be controlled by a hand held remote. A single remote can deliver access to ad-
