GARY SIMONS GUEST SPEAKER ON SUNDAY, JANUARY 13Gary Simons serves as the Executive Director of an international ministry of church revitalization based in Taiwan which includes teaching and training pastors, leaders, and ministry teams. Gary has been serving as an international instructor and trainer for Walk Thru the Bible Ministries for over 20 years. One of his greatest joys is the teaching he does in Ethiopia under Petros Network.

He and his wife Belle, son Aiden, and daughter Jasmine reside in Taiwan where in addition to the international countries, they are serving to revitalize the Chinese Church in the Far East.

Portland Christian Center, as we embark on a journey of growth in 2019, part of God’s plan for us is to grow together…in community. This year, we want to increase the kinds of communities that you can be a part of by introducing small groups. Small groups are intentional gatherings of people who meet regularly to do life together, study and discuss God’s Word and apply it to their lives. If you would like to host a small group, we invite you to join us for the leadership training on either Saturday, February 2 from 9:00 -11:00 AM or Sunday, February 24 from 12:00 - 2:00 PM at the Portland Christian Center Campus.

If you have led a Tables For 8 group, hosted a table in a Sunday class, lead a class, or have always wanted to host a group, leadership training is for you. Lead by Pastor Matt Blankenship, training will begin with a meal and then move into how to start, lead and grow a group. Childcare is available as well. Portland Christian Center, as we embark on a journey of growth in 2019, part of God’s plan for us is to grow together…in community. This year, we want to increase the kinds of communities that you can be a part of by introducing small groups. Small groups are intentional gatherings of people who meet regularly to do life together, study and discuss God’s Word and apply it to their lives. If you would like to host a small group, we invite you to join us for the leadership training on either Saturday, February 2 from 9:00 -11:00 AM or Sunday, February 24 from 12:00 - 2:00 PM at the Portland Christian Center Campus.

If you have led a Tables For 8 group, hosted a table in a Sunday class, lead a class, or have always wanted to host a group, leadership training is for you. Lead by Pastor Matt Blankenship, training will begin with a meal and then move into how to start, lead and grow a group. Childcare is available as well. GARY SIMONS GUEST SPEAKER ON SUNDAY, JANUARY 13Gary Simons serves as the Executive Director of an international ministry of church revitalization based in Taiwan which includes teaching and training pastors, leaders, and ministry teams. Gary has been serving as an international instructor and trainer for Walk Thru the Bible Ministries for over 20 years. One of his greatest joys is the teaching he does in Ethiopia under Petros Network.

He and his wife Belle, son Aiden, and daughter Jasmine reside in Taiwan where in addition to the international countries, they are serving to revitalize the Chinese Church in the Far East.
