The Southern California College Advising Corps mission is to
improve college outcomes for low-income, first-generation,
and underrepresented students. The programs goal is to
increase the number of California students who attend and
complete college by supporting high school students with
their college searches, applications, financial aid, and
transition to post-secondary education.
Advising is a two-year full time service position ideal for any early
career professional. Employee benefits include healthcare, retirement,
and tuition remission if you are accepted into a USC degree program.
Employees awarded tuition remission on a maximum of 4 units per term at the graduate level
" I will never forget the day a student walked into my office and came to
give me a big hug, letting me know he had been one of the few chosen
for a selective scholarship to attend Northwestern University on a full-
ride. I teared up knowing this was life changing oppourtuntity for him
and felt thankful I had helped him along the way "
