Aims and scope
Archives Animal Breeding (AAB) is an open-access journal publishing original research papers and reviews by international researchers on scientific progress in farm-animal biology. The journal includes publications in quanti- tative and molecular genetics, genetic diversity, animal husbandry and welfare, physiology, and reproduction of livestock. It addresses researchers, teachers, stakeholders of academic and educational institutions, as well as industrial and governmental organizations in the field of animal production.
AAB covers the following subject areas:▪ quantitative genetics and estimation of breeding value;▪ DNA markers and gene expression;▪ product quality;▪ animal husbandry;▪ animal behaviour;▪ animal nutrition;▪ livestock physiology;▪ biodiversity.
Papers should be about the following animals:▪ cattle;▪ ruminants;▪ pigs;▪ fish;▪ sheep;▪ goats;▪ domesticated birds;▪ rabbits;▪ horses.
