The Hatch Mob so far…

Site:

- Maintain the existing site on the southern end of town – reinforces ‘precinct’.

- Allows people to wander freely around town, meander down to the site

- There is the potential to move the students house on west if required

- A shift to the west is a strong design move

- Clear the existing building and slab to make way for new development

- There is the potential to recycle existing materials within the town

- Honour the landscape and plantings

Spaces:

- Men’s Sense of Waiting Space

- Women’s and children’s waiting space

- 3 toilet zones (women/ men/ staff)

- Laundry/ Showers (external access)

- Children’s Play Space

- An area to hang paintings, needs to be designed – not an afterthought

- Emergency can accommodate 2 patients – potential for allied health room to be one of them

- 6 consultation rooms

- Administration (Paul’s offi ce, tea/ lounge space/ meeting space)

- Pharmacy

- Clinical Preparation area

- External Storage

- Garden Tool Storage

- Strong Vehicle Access

- Men’s Workshop Space
