WORSHIP ATTENDANCE JULY 22, 2018

SPECIAL OFFERING THIS SUNDAY, JULY 29TH

This year for Operation Christmas Child

we would like to give you the opportunity

to donate funds for purchasing supplies

rather than buying them yourselves.

Buying in bulk will give us a price ad-

vantage and eliminate collection baskets in the foyers as well as making it

easier for you to give. (Of course you can still donate supplies if you prefer

and boxes will be available in the fall for family packing).

Our goal is to pack 300 shoeboxes which will require about $2500.00 for

supplies and an additional $2,100.00 in shipping fees and Greatest Journey

lesson materials which follow the shoebox distribution.

CURRENT SERIES TO CONCLUDE WITH LAKESIDE SERVICE AUGUST 19

Our current message series, Summer at the Seaside, will conclude with a special lakeside service at Rocky Fork Lake. One of Jesus’ last recorded moments with His disciples was on the shore of the Sea of Galilee. It was here that Jesus prepared a breakfast of fish for the disciples and affirms and reinstates Peter following his deepest failure as a student of Christ—his denial of Jesus. It is a gripping and tender moment in the concluding days of Jesus’ life on earth and will provide an appropriate conclusion to our summer series. There will be no services in town that morning. Instead, we will gather at the East End Overlook, off Lucas Lane, next to the East End Retreat and Ban-quet Center, for a morning of worship, testimony and fellowship. Our morning together will conclude with a Fish Fry and Carry in meal and other activities for adults and kids. Make plans now to attend and bring a friend.
