New Lunch Buffet “Taste Lift”
We are happy to announce that beginning January 4, 2017 the
lunch buffet will experience a remarkable
“taste lift” as we expand the selections that are sure to please
our members and their guests. Each day in
addition to Chef Ed’s signature comfort food and delectable
ethnic entrees, we will be offering a carving
station that will feature fresh roast turkey and beef that can
be enjoyed as a sandwich or complete meal.
We will fire up our BBQ in our courtyard and grill to order all
natural Brandt Beef burgers, chicken breasts
and fresh vegetables.
Our Salad selection will satisfy lighter appetites
and can be topped with our daily grilled or carved
additions.
All this and our signature soups, tasty desserts and
our ever popular Wednesday ice cream sundae bar
traditions. We welcome you to the New Year,
New Buffet.
Served Monday—Friday, 11:30 to 2:00 pm.
Members $13.00, Department and Guests $16.50
all inclusive of tax, and service with a smile.

Join us on Wednesdays and Thursdays beginning January 11 from
4pm—7pm in our newly
remodeled lounge and patio for craft cocktails, draft beers,
wines, pizzas and snacks.
Members are encouraged to bring family and friends, colleagues
and future club members.
Valentine’s Dinner & Concert, February 14, 2017 Join us from
6 to 9 pm for a concert
by Mexican-American pianist
Gustavo Romero followed by a
romantic fine dining experience.

Checking For Chess Mates Some interest has been expressed in
forming a chess club for UCSD emeriti and faculty. Our initial
conception is to meet at the faculty club, perhaps first and third
Mondays of the month. Mid-morning meetings would allow convenient
participation in the Faculty Club luncheon afterward. If you might
be interested in participating in, or have ideas regarding such a
