ArcGIS Server Sample Solar Geoprocessing Model
Solar Boston Map An interactive mapping application that showcases active renewable energy installations in Boston, Massachusetts. The application also provides a rooftop view of the city, allowing users to calculate potential rooftop photovoltaic capacity by taking roof size and shading from surrounding structures into account.http://gis.cityofboston.gov/solarboston/
Solar Geoprocessing Model WidgetThis sample widget provides a geoprocessing model that can be configured with your own data (DEM with accurate surface values) and published with ArcGIS Server. The widget allows the user to draw a polygon where solar panels may be placed on a rooftop. The geoprocessing model runs and calculates the solar potential.
