Secondary Framing (Z And C Sections)
Purlins, girts and eave struts are cold formed steel members which have a minimum yield strength of 345 MPa
(50,000 psi) and will conform to the physical specications of ASTM 572 (Grade 50) or ASTM A653 (Grade 50) or
equivalent.
Purlins and girts are roll formed Z sections, 200 mm deep with 64 mm anges
shall have a 16 mm stiffening lip formed at 45˚ to the ange. They are
supported on columns, rafters or building walls. They can be lapped and
nested at the supports which creates a continuous beam conguration. They
are placed on the roof and perimeter of the building. Hence they serve as a
support to the roof sheeting and wall cladding.

C-Sections are 200 mm deep with a 100 mm ange. The anges are
perpendicular to the web and have a 24 mm stiffening lip.
Eave struts are 200 mm deep with a 104 mm wide top ange, a 118 mm wide
bottom ange, both are formed parallel to the roof slope. Each ange has a 24
mm stiffener lip. These are located along the sidewall; at the intersection of
the planes of the roof and wall. It is constructed from cold formed C-Section
and is rolled to suit the roof slope. This member transmits longitudinal wind
force on the end walls from roof brace rods to wall brace rods.
These are long span load carrying trusses suitable for direct support of oors
and roof decks in the buildings. The system consists of crimped angles welded
to the top and bottom chords.
Cable bracing is made of extra high strength seven strand cable and can be
designed to accommodate any length to ensure the stability of the building
against forces in the longitudinal and lateral direction due to wind, cranes and
earthquakes. It is made of a cable which is forged into a rod terminal and this
arrangement is then xed on a structure using a hill side washer, nut washer
and a nut.
This member is designed to ensure the stability of building against forces in
the longitudinal and lateral direction due to wind, cranes, and earthquakes. It
is made of round bar which is forged into a rod terminal and this arrangement
is then xed on a structure using a hill side washer, nut washer and nut.
Angle bracing shall have a minimum yield strength of 250MPa(36,000 psi)
and will conform to the physical specication of ASTM A-36 or equivalent.

Cladding System
Arcdeges standard steel panels are 0.5 mm or 0.6 mm thick and have a minimum yield strength of 345 MPa. Steel panels
are hot dipped and galvanized with zinc or zin caluminium coating. Galvanized materials conform to G90 for 275 grams
per square metre according to ASTM A653. Zinc-Aluminium coated materials conform to AZ150 according to ASTM A792.
Arcdeges panels are prepared with a multilayered coating system to ensure long life and optimum coating adherence. The
base material is pretreated, before applying a corrosion resistant primer and top coat. The combined thickness of the
painted lm is 25 microns on the front side and 12 microns on the reverse side.
Arcdeges Roof prole is strong and cost effective and was developed
specically for roong applications. The bearing leg design permits easier
installation and maintenance, supports thicker layers of insulation and allows
easier curvature for a visually appealing nish.

Material Specication
Roof and Wall Panels are roll-formed from 0.5 mm(nominal)thick cold-rolled
steel coated with an Aluminum - Zinc alloy (Zinvalume). The material
conforms to ASTM A 792M SS Grade 340 Class2, with metallic coating
AZM150(or equivalent), having a minimum yield strength of 340 MPa
(50ksi). The coating is achieved through a hot-dip process, which is 55%
Aluminum 1.6% silicon by weight and the balance is Zinc.
Roof & Wall Panels
Roof and Wall Panels are mill painted(Pre-Painted). Paint lm thickness shall
be 25 microns of (weather) face and interior face.
ARCDGES Steel has two Types of paint systems. They are (ASP & APF):icon by
weight and the balance is Zinc.

The structural steel has traditionally been fabricated onsite mainly due to lack of infrastructure for transporting
heavy sections from an off-site workshop to project site. Moreover, there is often insufcient space at a site to set
up a fabrication workshop and skilled labor Is available at a premium. These issues can always be mitigated by
workshop made steel structures which are provide to be more efcient in terms of quality and timelines. This
helps to reduce the time and cost of execution, and is expected to fuel the demand for steel structures in future.
The speed of execution is critical factor for any large industrial or infrastructure project & is a driver for shift
towards the factory made fabrication. The projects that took longer period to complete a few years ago are being
executed in much lesser time thereby resulting in consideration will propel the industry towards factory made
steel structures and owners and consultants will realize the advantages in terms of uniformity of nish and better
quality, as steel producers align their rolling section as per the design needs.

Quality Assurance
Our Integrated approach to Quality with-out Question results in real value to all team
members. Here's how:
Schedule control procedures at ABIL are critical in achieving success for the client and ABIL These procedures
establish project safety, cost, schedule and quality plans. During project execution, the status of the project is
periodically evaluated to identify deviations from these plans. Management can then identify the actions or
adjustments that may be necessary to keep the overall project on target.
Our schedules are tracked by comparing actual progress to the baseline control plan. It's basically a balance
between work sequencing and manpower allocation that allows us to accomplish desired work progress.
For Owners:
Value through clear design documents resulting in lower bids, integrated construction quality activities eliminating rework,
earlier completion schedules, tested & veried system and assembly performance eliminating operational issues, and
ultimately reducing operating costs.
For Engineers:
Value through clear design documents reducing requests for information and eliminating change orders, an integrated
punch list process, & reduced efforts on your part to have to review and approve project components.
For Sub-contractors:
Value through clear understanding of quality expectations, a provided means to achieve these through mock-up
construction & testing, streamlined work-ow, and elimination of the end-of-project issues you typically encounter.
For End-Users:
Value through a project that meets your needs without delays or nuisance issues during your rst year of use, positive
impressions of the project and your productive use of the owner's investment.
OUR PROCESS FOR CONTROLLING SCHEDULE IS THE FOLLOWING:
QUALITY WITH-OUT QUESTION
The Value Of Quality
THE CULTURE OF QUALITY
At project initiation, the baseline control schedule is developed. This is the reference
document for planning & is modied only as a result of Owner approved change orders.
The design of the schedule is such that it is realistic & a positive planning tool & facilitates
the roll up of gross details into successively larger categories.1
Weekly working schedules are prepared which are updates of the control schedule to
reect progress to date. During preparation of the weekly work schedule, variations from
the control schedule are accessed & adjustments & actions to steer progress towards the
established milestones are implemented. In all cases, the working schedule is planned to
keep the project as close to the control schedule as possible.

Pre-engineered building. The baseline control schedule is revised when change orders
that affect schedule are received.3The end result achieves, on time delivery and on time project completion which is the
ultimate goal for quality. 42928
The commitment to quality on ABIL projects stands equally as high. All ABIL employees and tradespeople are provided the
training and tools to produce the best possible results on every project. More than a program, ours is an approach focused
on identifying and eliminating potential issues together, so the quality standards achieved on each and every ABIL project
are truly quality with-out question.
At ABIL, "quality" is not a single activity, rather a series of many linked activities integrated into our day-to-day industrial
construction & project management process. These are probatively planned, performed & tracked from the earliest stages
of a project during preconstruction, through construction & past nal completion. With quality activities taking place
throughout our process, we are better able to focus on building the project right the rst time, not adding layers of
departments & management.
