The Arantia HE-21 headend is the most efficient solution for the reception and streaming of IPTV channels, allowing the operators, hospitality, corporations, airports, ports, transport stations, admi-nistrative buildings and singular projects, to distribute advance IPTV and Digital TV services (DVB-S/S2, DVB-T/T2, DVB-C, IS-DB-T/Tb, ATSC, HDMI & IP) for its following and streaming through a IPTV network with the maximum quality and reliability.

It includes all functions in the same chas-sis, including a wide range of input inter-faces, facilitating the aggregation of servi-ces for distribution in all types of networks in the most efficient way.

CONTENTS AGGREGATION: As a high-density receiver, the Arantia HE-21 Headend allows for the integration of services from different sources, includ-ing IP, DVB-S/S2, DVB-C, DVB-T/T2, ATSC, ISDB-T/Tb and HDMI with IP output.

CENTRAL HEADEND: The flexibility of the system configuration allows for the aggregation of services from different sources and their prepara-tion for the distribution over IPTV net-works.

WEB TOOL: The Arantia HE-21 configuration is done through a web platform optimizing the installation process.

CUSTOMIZATION: Adaptable to the needs of each project, allowing infinite configurations, thanks to the different types of cards available.

DE-SCRAMBLING: this service is com-patible with most of the CA’s of the mar-ket that supports AES and DVB CSA algo-rithms through DVB CI interfaces, includ-ed in some input modules. It allows the scrambling of multiple services, maximiz-ing the system utilization and the solu-tion design.

RECONFIGURATION: Still changing each solution needs, the Arantia HE-21 Headend will be adapted to them, making the minimum hardware changes.

WEB SERVER

The application “Web Server” is a HTTP server absorbed by the Arantia HE-21 Headend. It can serve static contents as well as web pages made in html, documents, images... The contents can be easily loaded through the FTP server, which is included with the Web server.

Music and Video Streaming with limited capacity.

Firmware hosting to update automatically the device which are connected between them.

UPNP SERVER

UPnP Server (Universal Plug and Play) is embedded in the Ar-antia HE-21 Headend. IT is used to advertise the IPTV servic-es to networked devides. Network devides can discover IPTV services automatically. IPTV services can be grouped into con-tainers to facilitate the organization of large channel list.

SAP ANNOUNCEMENTS

The server SAP application is an integrated service which im-plements the Session Announcement Protocol in the Arantia HE-21 Headend. It annouces the IPTV services to the connect-ed devices in network. The devices connected in network can discover the IPTV services automatically. The IPTV services can be grouped together (playlists) to make easier the organiza-tion of big channel lists.

UDP TO HTTP PROXYThe UDP to HTTP proxy is a multicast traffic embedded link in the Arantia HE-21 Headend. It is able to forward multicast IPTV traffic available on a network to HTTP clients upon request. This application has not transcoded the content so IPTV ser-vices can be reached HTTP clinets with their original quality.

ITV MDW LITE & STB/TV ADMIN LICENCE (Ref. 830325)

ITV MDW LITE & STB/TV ADMIN is an optional application which extends the functionality of the Arantia HE-21 hea-dend. It includes an ITV lite middleware for viewing of IPTV channels on LG Pro Compatible devices: Centric Smart with HCAP Support, Samsung with H. Browser and Arantia STB Chronos. In addition, it provides an interface for the remote administration and control of this devices, as well as the man-agement of IPTV channels.

The ITV lite middleware allows for the connection of an al-most unlimited numbers of users simultaneously. Its style may be customized to suit the requirements of the users. The integration with the Arantia IPTV HE-21 headend allows for programming automatic synchronisation of the middleware with the headend channels and the automatic discovery of them through the SAP service announcement protocol.

The management and remote control of LG and Samsung compatible devices and Arantia STB Chronos, allows to make several actions in automatic and remote mode, such as power management, volume, current input, firmware update, mid-dleware configuration, etc.
