ignite with explosive force. Mists or sprays may burn at temperatures below the flash point. Carbon dioxide,
carbon monoxide, smoke, fumes, unburned hydrocarbons and trace oxides of sulfur, phosphorus, zinc and
nitroge n. Also, dep ending up on the c onditions of use, low co nce ntrations of hydroge n sulfide c an b e released.

5.6 Firefighting Proc ed ures:
Keep co ntainers co ol until well after the fire is out. Use wa ter spray to co ol fire-exp osed surfac es and to protect
personal. Avoid spraying water directly into storage containers because of danger of boilover. Prevent runoff
from fire control or dilution from entering sewers, drains, drinking water supply, or any natural waterway.
Firefighters must use full bunker gear including NIOSH-approved positive pressure self-contained breathingapparatus to protect against potential hazardous combustion or decomposition products and oxygen

6.1 Spills:
Secure spill area, remove or minimize all sources of ignition, and maximize ventilation. Stop spill or leak at source if safely possible

8. EXPOSURE CONTROL & PERSONAL PROTECTION8.1 Vent ilation & Engine ering Co ntrols:
The use of mec hanica l dilution ventilation is recom mend ed to ma intain airborne co nce ntrations below the reco mm ende d
oc cup ational exp osure limits, whenever this ma terial is used in a c onfined spac e, is heated abo ve norma l temp eratures (up to 38C
or is ag itated.
8.2 Respiratory Prote c tion:
Vapo rization or m isting is not expec ted at a mb ient temp eratures. Therefore, the nee d for respiratory protec tion is not a nticipated
under normal use conditions and with adequate ventilation. If elevated airborne concentrations above applicable workplace
expo sure levels are anticip ated , a NIOSH-ap proved organic vap or respirator equipp ed with a dust/m ist prefilter should b e used
Protection factors vary depending upon the type of respirator used. Respirators should be used in accordance with OSHA
requirem ents (29 CFR 1910.134).

Use gloves constructed of chemical resistant materials such as neoprene or heavy nitrile rubber if frequent or prolonged contact is
expe cted . Use heat-p rotective gloves when handling product at eleva ted tem peratures.

Avoid p rolonged a nd/ or repe ated skin conta ct. Use c lean and impe rvious protec tive clothing (e.g., neoprene o r Tyvek) if splashingor spraying conditions are present. Protective clothing should include long-sleeves, apron, boots and additional facial protection

Based on a nimal testing from similar materials & produc ts, the ac ute toxic ity of this produc t is expe cte d to be: Petroleum Oils - LD5(oral, rat) > 5000 mg / kg ; LD50 (derma l, rabb it) > 2000 mg/ kg; LD50 (inhalation, rat) > 5000 mg / m 3.
11.2 Ac ute Toxicity:
Mineral oil mists derived from highly refined oils are repo rted to have low a cute and sub-a cute toxicities in a nimals. Effects from single
and short-term repeated exposures to high concentrations of mineral oil mists well above applicable workplace exposure level
include lung inflammatory reaction, lipoid granuloma formation and lipoid pneumonia. In acute and sub-acute studies involving
exposures to lower concentrations of mineral oil mists at or near current work place exposure levels produced no significant
toxicological effects.
11.3 Chronic Toxicity:
In long term studies (up to two y ears) no c arcinog enic e ffects have b een reported in any anima l spec ies tested.11.4 Suspec ted Carc inogen:

An environmental fate analysis has not been conducted on this specific product. However, plants and animals may experienceharmful or fatal effects when c oated with petroleum-ba sed p roducts.
12.3 Effec t on Aqua tic Life:
Petroleum-b ased (mineral) lube o ils will norma lly float o n water. In stagna nt or slow-flowing wa terways, an oil laye r can co ver a large
surface area. As a result, this oil layer might limit or eliminate natural atmospheric oxygen transport into the water. With time, if not
removed , oxyg en de pletion in the wa terway c an result in a loss of ma rine life or create a n ana erobic environment. This ma teria
contains phosphorus which is a controlled element for disposal in effluent waters in most sections of North America. Phosphorus is
known to enhanc e the forma tion of alga e. Severe alga e growth ca n reduc e oxyg en co ntent in the water possibly below level
nec essary to supp ort ma rine life.
