ARABPATOverview of recent developments
Arabpat project:ARABPAT is a patent information dissemination
platform in Arab countries. It’s a member of ESPACENET family, which was created by the European Patent Office (EPO) in order to facilitate access to more than 70 millions published documents by patent offices.
ARABPAT was initiated as a cooperative project between the member countries of the Agadir Agreement (Egypt, Jordan, Morocco and Tunisia) and supported by the European Patent Office (EPO), the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the Moroccan Office for Industrial and Commercial Property (OMPIC).

OBJECTIVES :ARABPAT aims to facilitate the production,
publication and the exchange of patent documents by patent offices in Arab countries.
ARABPAT a state-of-the-art search platform in Arabic, English and French.
ARABPAT aspires to play an important role in supporting innovation in Arab countries.
OBJECTIVES :ARABPAT offers access to patent data of the
Egyptian Patent Office (EGPO), the Moroccan Office for Industrial and Commercial Property (OMPIC), the Jordanian Directorate for the Protection of Industrial Property (IPPD) and, in the near future, to patent data of the Tunisian Institute for Standardization and Industrial Property (INNORPI).
ARABPAT is open to industrial property Offices in Arab countries which want to participate and contribute in wider dissemination of inventions of their countries.
