An ontology for the automatic treatment of related links
The system supports a platform for targeted external users, with easy and ready-to-use access for different users:
from public institutions to private enterprise from academics to students being itself a structured
repository the search engine is designed for advanced queries
(e.g. technological solutions, scientific outcomes, social frameworks, etc.) with pertinent answers and targeted links in a time/effective cost/effective approach

OpenID: authentication of users to manage the private parts of the site. Value-added services can be offered to selected users
Liferay: Content Management System (CMS) based on Java that allows for the management of multilingual content. This will allow research in different languages
Norconex-collector: a crawler to gather and filter content from Internet
Solr: a standard search platform used to store the crawled data forming the feed base for the Aquenergy engine
MapServer: Server of geographic data that enables the generation of multi-layer maps to aggregate information of interest. For example, it may show a map representinginformation on power lines, roads and cities
