Part B : Out come by the end of the year.

Of all the 5 academic years, the 5th year had witnessed many activities

and programmes.

The admission for the year was better than all the previous years, the

total number of students being 766. Of 766 students, 336 were boys, 430

were girls. Once again the girl students out numbered boys with a big

difference of almost 100. The number of students under GM category was

only 96, the remaining students belong to SC, ST Backward minority

classes.

As a customary practice, the orientation programme for new comers

was organized on 21 and 22 July 2011. The I day was devoted to share the

information with the students about the infrastructure and other facilities

provided by the institution to the students. The II day focused on the

activities which would help the students develop their career.

Induction programme was conducted on 9.8.2011 which helped us to

know their education, social and economic status.

The teachers have continued to participate in seminars / conferences /

workshops held in different places.

As is the practice, students had always been encouraged to use the

library at the optimum level as a source of learning. The system is that the

students should sit in the library whenever their time permits to do the

reference work, signing in the attendance register meant for the purpose.

This definety has enabled them to develop the skills like reading,

comprehending sorting out the main points from the unimportant ones and

making notes. They are also being encouraged to refer to the journals,

newspapers and magazines which would contribute to the development of

their general knowledge. The college always stood by them by providing

college and the marks were made available for the students in a week’s

marks were put up on the college notice board, so that the students come to

know the discrepancies, if any and get it corrected, before sending the list to

the university. The semester-end exam was conducted by the university and

the results were usually being announced in a month’s time after the
