while recuperating at home and is making them
available to her church family. If anyone needs
one, please contact Anita at :

Stuffed animals are a big hit with children of all ages, so make sure you add a
colorful, soft, cuddly stuffed animal in each of your shoeboxes. And with Easter
only a few weeks away, there will be many great shoebox items on sale along
with adorable stuffed animals.

The UMW is having their 3rd Annual Plant Sale to benefit Henderson Settlement, an agricultural
ministry in the Red Bird Missionary Conference. Because of our mild winter, we are moving our
sale up from Mother’s Day weekend to Saturday, April 18, and will be selling them at our 2nd
campus instead of our downtown campus this year.
In order to obtain the more popular plants before they are sold out, we placed an initial first order
last week. We used last year’s order forms to guide us in our selections, so if you don’t see your
choices on the form this year, they have already set them aside for us, and are out of stock now.
If you did not place an order last year, or want to order more than you did last year, please call Pat
Cecil at 502-507-3069 to place an order from the attached form. Print copies are also available at
the church office. We are setting it up, too, so that anyone can just come and shop with no previous
order, so tell your friends and family. We would like to place a second order by Wednesday,
April 8 at Noon, so let Pat know by then.
Because social distancing will still be in effect, we will set an appointment time for you to come
and pick up and/or shop for plants, as well as deliver them to your home if you are uncomfortable
coming to us. Prices reflect an increase due to the mileage that we now have to pay for delivery.
Pre-orders may be available for pickup Friday night. We will let you know.
Another way you can help Henderson Settlement is to donate any of last year’s empty hanging
baskets and 4" pots to re-use. You can also donate any items on their current needs list for Casey to
take back to Frakes, KY. Please bring any donations to the church by Thursday, April 16 at 4pm or
bring it to 2nd Campus between 11am-1pm Friday, April 17.
