8:00 - 5:00 APPLIED SUICIDE INTERVENTION SKILLS TRAINING (ASIST) Certified ASIST Trainers from throughout Utah ASIST - a two-day (13 CE hours for most disciplines) interactive workshop in suicide first-aid, provides ways to reduce immediate risks of suicide and increase supports for persons at-risk. It is suitable for all kinds of caregivers - health and mental health professionals, teachers, community workers, youth workers, volunteers, people responding to family, friends and co-workers. This program will be hosted by, and conducted at, the University of Utah Neuropsychiatric . The Utah National Guard and other certified trainers will also partner in the offering of this program. Attendance at both days is required for CE credit and ASIST Certification. Space will be limited so early registration is recommended. The content may be difficult if you are feeling emotionally vulnerable, if you have suicidal thoughts, or have been recently bereaved. In such cases, you may wish to delay taking the course until you are feeling stronger. (Limited scholarships are available from the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. 8:00 - 5:00 APPLIED SUICIDE INTERVENTION SKILLS TRAINING (ASIST) Certified ASIST Trainers from throughout Utah ASIST - a two-day (13 CE hours for most disciplines) interactive workshop in suicide first-aid, provides ways to reduce immediate risks of suicide and increase supports for persons at-risk. It is suitable for all kinds of caregivers - health and mental health professionals, teachers, community workers, youth workers, volunteers, people responding to family, friends and co-workers. This program will be hosted by, and conducted at, the University of Utah Neuropsychiatric . The Utah National Guard and other certified trainers will also partner in the offering of this program. Attendance at both days is required for CE credit and ASIST Certification. Space will be limited so early registration is recommended. The content may be difficult if you are feeling emotionally vulnerable, if you have suicidal thoughts, or have been recently bereaved. In such cases, you may wish to delay taking the course until you are feeling stronger. (Limited scholarships are available from the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. 8:00 - 5:00 APPLIED SUICIDE INTERVENTION SKILLS TRAINING (ASIST) Certified ASIST Trainers from throughout Utah ASIST - a two-day (13 CE hours for most disciplines) interactive workshop in suicide first-aid, provides ways to reduce immediate risks of suicide and increase supports for persons at-risk. It is suitable for all kinds of caregivers - health and mental health professionals, teachers, community workers, youth workers, volunteers, people responding to family, friends and co-workers. This program will be hosted by, and conducted at, the University of Utah Neuropsychiatric . The Utah National Guard and other certified trainers will also partner in the offering of this program. Attendance at both days is required for CE credit and ASIST Certification. Space will be limited so early registration is recommended. The content may be difficult if you are feeling emotionally vulnerable, if you have suicidal thoughts, or have been recently bereaved. In such cases, you may wish to delay taking the course until you are feeling stronger. (Limited scholarships are available from the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. 8:00 - 5:00 APPLIED SUICIDE INTERVENTION SKILLS TRAINING (ASIST) Certified ASIST Trainers from throughout Utah ASIST - a two-day (13 CE hours for most disciplines) interactive workshop in suicide first-aid, provides ways to reduce immediate risks of suicide and increase supports for persons at-risk. It is suitable for all kinds of caregivers - health and mental health professionals, teachers, community workers, youth workers, volunteers, people responding to family, friends and co-workers. This program will be hosted by, and conducted at, the University of Utah Neuropsychiatric . The Utah National Guard and other certified trainers will also partner in the offering of this program. Attendance at both days is required for CE credit and ASIST Certification. Space will be limited so early registration is recommended. The content may be difficult if you are feeling emotionally vulnerable, if you have suicidal thoughts, or have been recently bereaved. In such cases, you may wish to delay taking the course until you are feeling stronger. (Limited scholarships are available from the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. It is suitable for all kinds of caregivers - health and mental health professionals, teachers, community workers, youth workers, volunteers, people responding to family, friends and co-workers. This program will be hosted by, and conducted at, the University of Utah Neuropsychiatric . The Utah National Guard and other certified trainers will also partner in the offering of this program. Attendance at both days is required for CE credit and ASIST Certification. Space will be limited so early registration is recommended. The content may be difficult if you are feeling emotionally vulnerable, if you have suicidal thoughts, or have been recently bereaved. In such cases, you may wish to delay taking the course until you are feeling stronger. (Limited scholarships are available from the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. 8:00 - 5:00 APPLIED SUICIDE INTERVENTION SKILLS TRAINING (ASIST) Certified ASIST Trainers from throughout Utah ASIST - a two-day (13 CE hours for most disciplines) interactive workshop in suicide first-aid, provides ways to reduce immediate risks of suicide and increase supports for persons at-risk. It is suitable for all kinds of caregivers - health and mental health professionals, teachers, community workers, youth workers, volunteers, people responding to family, friends and co-workers. This program will be hosted by, and conducted at, the University of Utah Neuropsychiatric . The Utah National Guard and other certified trainers will also partner in the offering of this program. Attendance at both days is required for CE credit and ASIST Certification. Space will be limited so early registration is recommended. The content may be difficult if you are feeling emotionally vulnerable, if you have suicidal thoughts, or have been recently bereaved. In such cases, you may wish to delay taking the course until you are feeling stronger. (Limited scholarships are available from the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
