April 13th Wednesday to Saturday 16th inclusive 7.30 pm Easingwold Players present “Good” Taylor described his highly acclaimed play as a tragedy written as a musical comedy and like all great plays “Good” has a special meaning for each person in the audience. So, although “Good” examines how an author and university lecturer deals with life’s pressures during and after the rise of the Nazis, the underlying themes of the play are as relevant today – difficult decisions to be made about the care of geriatric parents, an eminent author in favour of euthanasia and protest votes for a populist, albeit extreme political party. Is this modern Britain or 1930s Germany? One of Easingwold Players’ strongest casts will pose the question for you. Adults £8 Children 16 & under £5

Saturday April 9th at 7.30 pm Henry Blofeld “Decanted and Distilled” Presented in association with Ciive Conway Celebrity Productions Ltd.

Henry Blofeld is best known for his time in the Test Match Special commentary box but there is much more to his life than that and during this evening “Blowers” will cover not only some cricket but also other memorable times with his trade-mark humour and forthright views. The show itself is very tongue-in-cheek: subjects veer from intergalactic travel through horticulture to mountaineering and there is time for a question and answer session at the end.

Tickets £18
