New for Fitting, Teaching and Golf Instruction
Technology of golf has changed over the past few years. To keep up with these changes and
ensure I can provide the best instruction and club fitting as your golf professional we now use
an ES16 launch monitor that aids in teaching and fitting. This monitor gives detailed statistics of
club and ball speed, launch angle, distance and other statistics to improve everyone’s golf
swing. Tired of hitting hooks and slices? Contact Kevin in the Golf Shop and schedule your golf
lessons for analyses of your swing. Golf lessons are available Tuesday through Saturday. Call
and make an appointment today. Lesson rates are $50 for adults and $40 for juniors. Buy five
lessons, get one lesson free.

Board of Directors Election
MONDAY, APRIL 9 - A special election will be held on Monday, April 9th, to elect two Directors to
the RHCC Board of Directors to fill out the unexpired terms of Jane Parsley and Butch
Freels. These terms will expire October 31st, 2018. Voting will be from Noon to 7:00 PM. One
vote is permitted per Regular or Company membership in good standing. Absentee ballots are
available from the office through Wednesday, April 4th, and must be returned at any time
preceding the day of the election.
The candidates nominated by the Nominating Committee are: Eric Hoffman, Kye Nichols, Jeff
Parsley and Jason Young. Please read each biography below and place your vote on Monday,
April 9th.
ERIC HOFFMAN: My love for golf began over 25 years ago at the "San Diego Golf
Academy." After graduation, I worked and taught golf at country clubs in California and
Kentucky. A few years after moving to Paducah, I took a break from golf and helped open a
local Italian restaurant, Ristorante Di Fratelli, where I was part-owner and executive chef. After
some health issues, I retired and focused on my daughter Sophia.
Although golf was my main reason for joining Rolling Hills, I have also enjoyed the fun and
relaxed social atmosphere that RHCC had to offer. One year after joining, my daughter Sophia
was born. Because of my daughter, RHCC has taken on a new role in my life. It has become
a place where sportsmanship is being learned and memories and friendships are being made. I
have seen positive changes at RHCC in the past few years. And I am excited to see what the
next few years will bring. I would be honored to work on the Board and to help ensure that our
club continues on a positive path.
KYE NICHOLS: I am a life-long resident of western Kentucky. I grew up in Carlisle
County, graduated from Murray State University with a degree in AG Business and now serve
as a Fiduciary Financial Advisor with Edward Jones in Lone Oak focusing on retirement
planning, creating and constructing investment line ups, monitoring Plan investments and
conducting portfolio investment reviews with his clients. I have more than fifteen years of
experience in the Financial Services industry, having been with Edward Jones for over ten
years and with FNB and Heritage Banks prior to joining Edward Jones.
I have been a member of Rolling Hills for over two years and was a member of and worked
during my college years at other area country clubs. I am eager to become more involved with
Rolling Hills and have recently moved my Edward Jones office to Lone Oak and plan to be a
permanent member of the Lone Oak community and Rolling Hills Country Club.
JEFF PARSLEY: I have been a member of Rolling Hills Country Club,
uninterrupted for 25 years. I am running for one of the vacant board positions to fill out that
term. I currently own my own consulting company, Jeff Parsley Consulting LLC.
Previously I worked 34 years for TVA, the largest public utility in the country. I was a Vice-
President for 5 years and was an officer of the company and sat on many boards concerning
the utility industry. The last 3 years I have worked for Southern Company through my company
as a General Manager for starting up a first of a kind technology plant.
My wife has selflessly served on this board for 5.5 years, and I am familiar with many of the
challenges the board faces.
Abraham Lincoln once said, “Almost all men can handle adversity, but the true measure of a
man’s character is when he is given a little power.” Being on the board of Rolling Hills Country
Club is not a position of power, but a position of service. The board is responsible for making
decisions that are in the best interest of the club and the members regardless of personal
feelings or prejudices.
In this position of service, I commit to considering all decisions with the best interest of the club
and club members above all else.
JASON YOUNG: I am a life-long Paducah resident and currently serve as the
Director of Business Intelligence at CSI. Prior to my time at CSI, I served as a Commercial
Relationship Manager at Regions Bank. A Murray State Graduate holding a B.S. in Economics
with a Minor in Finance, I will bring a strong, fiscally-conservative voice to the board. A long-
term and “big picture” thinker, my goal is to assist in making the correct decisions to continue
Rolling Hills Country Club’s status as a well-respected club that offers its Members the
wonderful amenities they deserve. With my many years of managing business relationships
and team members, I understand how a cohesive atmosphere and environment is important to
growing the membership of Rolling Hills while maintaining the family environment that makes
this club special. I reside in Paducah with my wife, Stacee, and our son Davis.
Proposed Bylaw Change
MONDAY, APRIL 9 - Noon - 7:00 PM
The Rolling Hills Country Club Board of Directors is submitting to the membership the following three
options for Article II, Section 2, D in the Rolling Hills Country Club Bylaws regarding Application for
Membership. Currently the Bylaw reads as follows:
D. The vote of the Board of Directors on each application shall be final; and three (3) negative
votes shall constitute exclusion of the applicant. No person failing of election to membership
may be again proposed for membership for one (1) year.
• You may vote to keep the Bylaw as is with no change.
• You may vote to change the Bylaw to allow a person that has not been approved to be
proposed again in six (6) months.
• You may vote to change the Bylaw to allow a person that has not been approved to be
proposed again in three (3) months.
One vote is permitted for each regular or company membership in good standing. You may vote for
only one of the three options listed.

Gunn at 270-366-5172.
Ladies' Golf Association, Night League
Rain, Rain, Go Away – it’s time for the Night Ladies to play! It’s been a long, wet winter; and the
Night Ladies are ready for golf! Night Ladies League play starts Tuesday night, May 1. A
organizational meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, April 17 at 6:00 p.m. at RHCC to learn more
about the league and to signup to become a member of the Night League and the RHCC Ladies
Golf Association. Dues remain at $25 this year and are payable when you join the league. We
will have a light dinner during the April 17 meeting.
For potential new members, RHCC Night Ladies Golf League members play nine holes starting
at 5:30 each Tuesday night. League play starts in May and ends in mid-September. The
format for golf is typically a pick your own team 4-lady scramble (if you don’t have a team, we
will put you with one). Skill levels range from beginners to more experienced golfers, and we
welcome beginning players to join us. It’s a great way for a beginner to gain some “no-
pressure” playing experience while learning some of the rules and etiquette of the game.
We hope to see everyone on Tuesday, April 17 at 6:00 p.m. to sign up for this year’s league!
Welcome to our newest members at Rolling Hills Country Club. We are excited to have you as
part of the RHCC family:
George & Sandy Johnson
Ryan & Rachel Oliver
Will Mark & Lana Edwards
