World Health Summit Regional Meeting 2018, Coimbra – Portugal will be devoted to

Global Health in African countries.

Portugal maintains close links, not only made up of centuries of history, but also

affective, cultural, linguistic, political, economic and diplomatic with the countries that

now constitute the CPLP - Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (Angola,

Brazil, Cabo Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea Equatorial, Mozambique, São Tomé e

Príncipe and East Timor), and will take this unique opportunity of the World Health

Summit Regional Meeting to draw the world's attention to the terrible problems most

of these countries face in the context of public health.
