Office Hrs. 9a.m.—2p.m. 918.492.1353

It took about 300 years for the leaders of

the early church to formally wrestle with a

question causing wide-spread disputes: "Who

Was Jesus?" The age of the Apostles had

passed. No one was left who physically had

met Jesus of Nazareth.

Was he a man who embodied the Spirit

of God? Was he the pre-existent "Word" the

Gospel of John mentions; the "Word" that was

in the beginning with God? What does it mean

to say "Jesus is the Son of God?"

How do you view Jesus: human, divine,

or a combination of the two?

It all came to a head in the 4th century

of the Common Era. Our Bible Study class will

explore that discussion (debate) on Sunday at

9:30 a.m. Come, join us.

There is a sign-up sheet on the church

bulletin board, or you can call Alice Jane at

918-299-0699.

With the weather being so unpredict-

able, there is another number to call (918-280-

7125) a few days in advance to see if construc-

tion will be underway that weekend.
