OF POSTPONEMENT OF ELECTION
An election was scheduled to be held in the City of Orange on the 2nd day of May, 2020, in accordance with an Order ad-opted by the City Council. OnMarch 18, 2020, the Governorof Texas issued a proclamation allowing all local political subdi-visions that are utilizing the May 2, 2020 uniform election date to postpone their election to the November 3, 2020 uniform elec-tion date. The City of Orange is exercising its authority under the Governor’s proclamation to postpone its election scheduled for May 2, 2020 to November

The South East Texas Region-al Planning Commission (SE-TRPC) is seeking a consultant to update the Hardin Coun-ty, Jefferson County, Orange County and SETRPC Mitigation Action Plans and possibly the Jasper County Mitigation Action Plan (TBD) to current Federal Emergency Management Agen-cy (FEMA) and Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) approved standards.

Flooding/disaster/emergency management specialization re-search skills;
Experience with prior Mitigation Action Plan creating/writing/up-dating;
Technical writing ability with em-phasis on formatting specialized tables, maps, graphics and oth-er special skills that represent data in a professional, compre-hensive and accurate manner;
Experience with county and/or city planning, preferably;
Ability to produce editable, up-dated Mitigation Action Plans for four (4) counties and one(1) region that meet FEMA and State standards for approval;
Historically Underutilized Busi-nesses (HUBs) strongly encour-aged to apply;
