RECOMMENDATION

Approve nominees to Pacific Grove Boards and Commissions as listed in Attachment 1.

Provide feedback and direction on structure of selected boards

DISCUSSION

Appointment to our boards and commissions is by nomination approved by the City Council.

Municipal Code sections 3.02 and 3.04 specify the process.

I’ve tried to be as complete and accurate as I can. Still, we may have updates at the time of the

meeting.

FISCAL IMPACT

No impact from the appointments. Staff provides ongoing support to most boards and

commissions. Vacancies can cause delays and direct expense to the city and serious

inconvenience and expense to applicants when votes are not sufficient to process an application

fairly and continued meetings are required.
