graying hair tucked under a worn hat

eyes had a warm kindly twinkle.

Hollis was intelligent and confident

and to some extent shrewd while the

woman of 40 was simple,gentle and

helpful.

Ans - John Blandford had found a

book ‘Of Human Boundage’ in

Florida Army Library. Throughout

the book he saw notes in a woman’s

handwriting and liked the remarks

about how she could see into a

man’s heart. He found her address

in a New York City telephone book

and wrote to her. She replied and

they continued writing.

that Hollis Meynell was a woman of strong

values.
