The College of Grad Studies requires that you take at least one course the semester you are admitted.

Nondegree seeking students will have to apply to the ITPP if they want to earn the graduate certificate.

In either case above, classes can be added through the “drop-swap” period; the 1st week of classes. More details and suggestions about changing courses is on the ITPP site. See Registering for Courses.

Likely … No You do NOT need to declare this status for sending transcripts for state teacher certification. This option is for students who are planning to take course credits to a different institution to count toward a higher education degree, such as a Masters of Arts in Teaching (MAT).

No admission test is required for the UCF ITPP. However, for everyone planning to transfer credits into a UCF Teacher Education Masters of Arts (MAT), you will need one of the following when you apply:

GRE Graduate Record Exam … score of at least 1000, or CLAST College Level Academic Skills Test … passed all four parts, or FTCE General Knowledge Test of the FTCE … passed all four sections.
