We know from experience that the cascade method is the most effective way of training users on our systems. This works as follows:• You nominate three to four key users to receive
the core training
• Your key users then cascade their learning to other staff
• This works well because small-group training can be more tailored and interactive
We will ensure your key users have the skills and confidence to:• Take a lead role in training colleagues
and motivating them to learn
• Provide ad-hoc ‘training’ and support in day-to-day working life
• Alter settings, solve issues and configure the system to ensure it matches requirements
• Create a culture of continuous improvement
We will advise you on your selection of key users and give them as much support as they need when they are training other staff. The approach needs to be right for your department and your people. We will therefore plan carefully to ensure success.

Rather than adopting a ‘one size fits all’ approach, we want to tailor the training to fit your needs. Rest assured your Application Services from Siemens Healthineers will give your staff the skills, knowledge and confidence they need at every stage to maximise your return on investment.
Most of your training will be provided on-site by your dedicated Application Specialist. Training directly on your system with your applications means your staff can put their learning into practice straight away. This embeds their new skills more quickly and easily.
There are times when training may be more effectively delivered off-site – in a classroom or at another institution – or remotely via a desktop connection.
Your training programme is likely to encompass a variety of approaches. You will have the opportunity to discuss it with your Application Specialist at the pre-training consultation. We will plan carefully to ensure we meet all your needs.
Applications help desk In some situations, you might have a clinical or technical query that requires a quick answer or solution. In this instance, you are able to simply call our Applications help desk.
During core working hours you will have instant access to one of our application specialists. Outside of these times, you may leave a message, which will be attended to at the start of the next working day.
syngo Remote AssistWhen a system issue is too complex to explain over the phone and there’s no time to wait for an on-site visit – syngo Remote Assist comes to the rescue.
Powered by Smart Remote Services (SRS), this tool creates a live connection between your system user interface and one of our application specialists from Siemens Healthineers.

User groups and symposiaModality-specific user groups and symposia are delivered on a regular basis by Siemens Healthineers. We will keep you up to date with the latest developments and innovations. Refresher trainingAimed at new starters or return-to-work users, refresher training can either be delivered at your place of work or in the classroom at one of our Academy training centres.

Bespoke webinarsSpotted a knowledge gap? We can provide you with a bespoke, tailored and topic-focused webinar for your staff, providing an enhanced level of webinar access. Bespoke webinars are typically 45-60 minutes long, a live online seminar on a specific clinical or product related topic and will be accessible by all users at any time.
PEPconnectionsAs part of PEPconnect, managers can gain access to PEPconnections. This will allow managers to:

• Create learning pathways specific to your standard operating procedures

Clinical workshopsOur workshops provide a range of tailored learning experiences delivered directly at your site. They are the perfect accompaniment to our classroom training and have a large emphasis on providing participants with hands-on experience. Multiple training methods are employed, including presentations, exercises, case support and/or simulated case training.
Virtual instructor-led trainingShort (60-90 minute), tailored, pre-booked training can take place simply and conveniently with syngo Remote Trainer. Suitable for up to four learners, this tool enables:
• Training by an Application Specialist from Siemens Healthineers via the telephone and remote desktop sharing
• Interaction with the Trainer as though they were in the same room
• Instant results as learning is applied in your department, on your system, with your applications
Optimise Dose A consultancy and education programme to ensure the right dose is used in CT examinations, with an expectation that we can lower dose in routine CT examinations without compromising image quality.
Optimise Contrast Review of the current levels of contrast used within routine CT examinations with the expectation that together we will reduce the amount of contrast required without compromising image quality.
Optimise Workflow Equipment optimisation and process improvement for CT or MR. Here we provide an assessment of your system protocols and workflows, with identification of possible improvements. A discussion forum will follow for recommendations and planning, as well as support in implementing change for greater efficiency.
MRI Angiography Masterclass Let us help you build your team’s confidence in MRA procedures. This will include hands-on training, combining theory and best practice, and provides support in achieving protocol optimisation and process improvement in MRA examinations.
