APPLICATION GUIDE: BROADCAST TELEVISON

Using the Studer Vista platform series console with

the Infinity Core Processor and the D23 I/O card frame

provides unparalleled routing options, operational ease

and integration into any control room environment. With

three different fader chassis options (32-, 42- or 52- fader)

that all include the same operational features, a console

format for any operator's needs can be provided. The

redundant Studer Infinity Core system allows for over

800 channels of audio to be processed and provides a

Studer A-Link interface to connect to other Studer console

surfaces within a production facility. This allows for a

future-ready system to scale as studio demands change.

With the Infinity Core processing power and the addition of

a D23 I/O modular card frame, the Studer Vista platform is

ready for any potential audio routing connectivity needs.

Within the studio environment, a surround JBL 7 Series

speaker configuration of the 8" 708i as the LCR and the 5"

705i as the rear surround speakers is used. This scalable

system allows for adaptation of a control room depending

on the audio delivery and monitoring needs as they

change per show. A Crown DCI 8x300 amplifier powers

the JBL 7 Series and can be installed in the machine

room and programmed with presets per show or per

operator allowing for custom set ups per show. With the

AKG HSD271 dynamic headphones in the communication

system, having an over the ear design provides the most

outside noise rejection to ensure program material focus

for the engineer. It also provides a boom mic with swivel

mute for easy use, to allow for quick in room conversations

off the intercom system. All of these products allow

for modular and scalable integration to provide for any

changes in production needs that may arise.
